Fred,
You might wish to add a question regarding the users' BROWSER. Some of us still use Netscape, many use Firefox, and one or two may still be stuck using IE. :P
The answers might make some major impact on the viewability of the forum and other portions of QRZ.
Thanks and 73

One feature I really do miss the the map service attached to the call sign lookup. When working uhf/vhf it was very helphful to see what part of the stat they were in.

Have noticed other comments about different browsers, os, etc.
Like it that QRZ has questions and allowing members to reply and give input. It would be nice if there was a monthly survey. Might open some eyes, and let others know of concerns.
Some of the forums have people who sound like they have nothing better to do than grip or put down others. Then there are those that give answers, share knowledge and pass on tips and tricks.
Any newbies coming in ( I was one at one time) may get the wrong or negative picture of what these forums are really about.
WAY TO GO QRZ! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

Explorer from a VERY slow connection here *
Might suggest voting on what type of LOGGING software folks are using to note which is most effectively using QRZ Subscriptions and Registrations for other to maybe consider for future purchases.
Myself I'm using LOGIC8 and love how well it interfaces seemlessly with QRZ.COM
Thanks for a great job Fred and all.

I use Opera for my web browser. OK, so I have to be different. :)
To me, IE has more holes in it than Swiss Cheese...and the only time I use it is to run Windows Update under XP.

No, you are not so different. I also use the latest version of Opera. Nice browser. If I don't use Opera then I also use Flock. It's a nice browser also. :)

Hey Fred,
Why don't you include poll questions that have more to do with Ham radio and less about computers and internet. I know there is more crossover today but you sure don't NEED a computer or internet to get on the air.

Should non-ham operators, who often ask questions regarding illegal ops, be allowed on the Zed forums, or be banned for admitting illegal equipment or operations?

My "1 2 3 ... Last Page" thread was primarily an experiment, and the "poll" was an afterthought--added later, in hope that it would be viewed as self-deprecating humor.
But, alas, it seems that my attempt at levity has backfired, and the 'humor' was taken much too seriously. And now the thread languishes among the more serious and pertinent surveys.
Now that it's been moved to Survey Central; will the survey results really provide "...input, some of which we will use to make future decisions regarding QRZ?"

I don't have a working computer at this time, and if I did, I would fear exposing it to the perils of the internet. I use webtv, instead. It's a $75 box connected to the regular phone line.
I type while seated in my easy chair in front of the TV, and MSN eats the viruses. It is rather slow, so while waiting for a page to load, I can do routine tasks to pass the time.
