I know there were some plans in QST earlier this year, but my dog destroyed that copy. :(

Anyone have some simple plans for a hand held beam that I can construct?

I really want to start working the satellites. I've been listening to AO-51 and ISS when I can over the last couple of weeks and am pretty interested in being able to work them.

Thanks!

Dog ate your homework huh?

I made a tape measure anteanna and it does very well for fox hunting and Sat work. Simple, tough, and easily stored and compact for travel or storage.

IMHO the easyest antenna to get working on vhf/uhf is the quagi:
