Hi all I want to get the AMP going onb 10 m also.
I know that there is a mod kit , but the problem is this I live in Thailand and they charge 29,95 us for the kit and 60 Us for postage
What I understand its only 2 air coils and a capacitor and a PCB
Does anybody have the schematic print and maybe PCB layout so I can make it may self.

I found this on the internet, so I do not know how accurate it is.
Here is the mod for the ALS-500 Ameritron amplifier without the MOD-10M kit."The kit cost $29.95 plus S&H"
1.With the front of the amplifier facing to you in the left front side you have to locate "4 little towers".
Note:The first and the third tower are grounded together via the chassis
2.Make a jump between the second and the fourth tower and thats it.I use a piece of #14 gauge cable for this purpose.
