Im trying to do a expanded transmit mod. It says to find the green wire in the lower left hand cornor, but im not seening the green wire. Anyone ever try this with this radio? thanks

If you are a MARS member, contact your local MARS Director, who will have all the information you need. CAP is not authorized amateur radio gear, due to NTIA directives.
All else is moot. All of the receive frequencies are there that you would ever need.

Just cut all of the green wires you can find . . one of them is bound to be the right one.

Why would anyone ever need to open up the transmit on a VHF/UHF radio?

Glad GQ gets to play MARS Director.
And .. the Amateur Radio Service is supposed to take care of its self ... ah yes ... here is the mod to get off the amateur radio spectrum.
Why get a license?

Please don't follow this advice. Not only is it inacurrate, most MARS directors have enough to do without also having to walk people through mods that they're supposed to be able to do on their own.
If you can't find it on the internet or can't get someone on one of these forums to tell you and really are a MARS member, just contact the tech support of the manufacturer and tell them your MARS call sign. They'll give you the info through email.
