Anyone built this tune circuit for their 706MKIIG?

I built this circuit, and it tests out fine, 10K accross the center 2 pins, and the outer pins switch in and out of continuity with my switch, but it doesn't trigger the 'tune' function on my rig.:confused: Anyone use this circuit successfully?

I just looked, the complex schematic is different, but I can attest to the one I built as 100% FB.

I guess I wasn't holding my mouth right last night?:p I plugged it in tonight, and it works like a charm! I pulled, tugged, and twisted, and it works fine, no intermittent connections. Wierd.
