Hello, my name is andrew, i am 14 and was wondering if there were any other hams out there close to my age. I do not have my license yet, but i am looking for a ham buddy for when i do get it. please email me: freedom_fire_pack@hotmail.com. 73.

It's a busy world with people at jobs and sports. Not everyone is online at the same time as you.:)

As much as you and many of us others may wish there were, there are not that many teenagers into ham radio, and even less on the forum. :(

19 here.... there are a good number of licensed teens... some are not active, alot are not active online... the real thing that needs to happen is to get a way to allow everyone to communicate and interact... other than that you;ll find a good number online spread throughout different forums and such. as always, your welcome here!

Whoa... I am 19 too! :D and our callsigns are consecutive! What!!!
We're twins..
Anyway, it's true. Only a select few license/non-licensed amateur radio teens are active online. I really wish it was easier to locate other teens to talk to and participate with. Effort online, in the amateur radio community, and on the air will help you meet many more teens!

Hi, I am 16 I got my license at 14 though! :) I am mostly QRP and HF + VHF. Live up near Edinburgh but I am Spanish :)

Unfortunately, with each passing day I grow closer to age 14. :(
Time to grow up....... where does time go? :(
I remember the day I first got my license like yesterday.
Before I know it I'll be 60 like the rest of the hams here on the zed. :p

Your info is false DXC although I did update my qrz page saying I am going to be in HA and OH QSO partys I did not change my age I was born in 1995 in Lagrange Hospital on August 1st.
Please tell me where else do I say I am 12?
Because I would like to change that.

Congratulations on your license. It is really nice to see another generation of young hams. I got my license in June of 2001 when I was 13 (originally KD5OWO) and at 19 I received this vanity call. Now a year later I am 20 and very slowly getting active with radio again.
