And the carnage continues...

Well it seemed more interesting than vampire bats, IMHO.

(At a world mortality rate of 153,000 per day, 7 days equals 1,071,000.)

The thing that bothers me is that it seems to have started a small war between Russia and Georgia. That wasn't going on a week ago.

At first I thought the "no politics" rule had caused dramatic softening in the price of oil, but now I am thinking that Monday's oil market may be more influenced by tensions in the Black Sea rather than by tensions in the muddy bogs of QRZ. We will just have to wait and see which is more significant: Putin's bloody desire for a new Russian empire, or the BBQ'ing of hams.

I thought it was until I read your post and found it to be just more of the drivel this forum has turned into. They're not dead, they're leaving in droves. The childish bickering and moderators out of control drove them away at first, but now the site has imploded there's a mass exodus. Me? Maybe I'll stick around to watch it breathe it's last just for fun, or maybe I'll get banned for expressing my opinion, whichever comes first. Maybe they'll axe me because of that OTHER forum just for spite... we'll see.

Five surgeons from big cities are discussing which profession makes the best patient to operate on. The first surgeon, from New York , says, "I like to see accountants on my operating, table because when you open them up, everything inside is numbered."

The second surgeon from Chicago responds, "Yeah, but you, should try electricians! Everything inside them is color coded."

The third surgeon, from Dallas , says, "No I don't agree, I really think librarians are the best, everything inside them is in alphabetical order".

The fourth surgeon, from Los Angeles chimes in: "You know, I like construction workers and mechanics...those guys always understand when you have a few parts left over."

But the fifth surgeon, from Washington , DC shuts them all up when he observed: "You're all wrong. Politicians are the easiest to operate on. There's no guts, no heart, no balls, no brains and no spine, and the head and the ass are interchangeable".
