I would like to see what type of projects everyone here may be working on or have completed. This includes any electronic circuit, antenna, or mechanical device. Even a software project would be interesting!

My web page is hosted on a Linux server at my house on an old computer and learning HTML/CSS is part of the project to create the webpage

Currently working on fixing my Ten Tec 1320 that I broke when I hooked the power up backwards. Pretty much too busy even for that...

Also trying to figure out how to fit everything on my desk...which is already huge, I dont know how I'm going to do it.

A satellite antenna for my VX-7R thats supposed to come in the mail tomorrow (hopefully it will come)

Currently, I'm working on - well, helping - grandad to get his tower back up after a spell of 14 years - at the current rate of productivity it might be up by the start of next week, as the beam (Hygain TH3) just needs put together and the guys and winch hosser attached and up she'll go (it's only 60' but it's better than nothing!) :D

At such times when it is up, if anyone wants a sked they can PM me, email me or add me to MSN or skype :)

On a personal level, i'm working on upgrading my licence to the "Advanced" category (equivalent to the US Extra) and have penciled my name in for the exam in December '08 :D

I'm currently working on tweaking my 500kc reception capabilities. This winter looks promising in the MF realm.

I always start more projects than I can finish.

Currently I am mainly working on software projects in my free time (Linux logger, contest logger, several CW related programs, lcwo.net, see http://fkurz.net/ham/).

An unfinished 6m transverter is lying here, waiting to be completed for a year already.

My current semester project is a planar microwave antenna array; playing with some industrial grade antenna modeling software is quite different from using NEC2!

Finally, some of the things I enjoy most are not the big projects, but small hacks and experiments, that can be finished in an afternoon or two; I am collecting some of those on http://fkurz.net/ham/stuff.html

im currently working on a new wire antenna for 10,20,40,80, and 160 meters. I am also learning code. Other then that the only other projects that look to be coming up is possibly building a 10-20 meter beam and putting up a new tower. I am also starting to get things together to build myself an hf vertical (that will probably be a winter project.Hopefully i can get most of these projects done before winter the tower will be next spring though (i still need to get a tower before i can put it up haha). That's about all that's going on as far as ham radio projects. Im also going to be building a guitar in the near future.

Haha nice, I was contemplating building a guitar a few years back but decided I didn't want to make that much of an investment at the time (hardwood like ash can get expensive!). I settled on building a tube amp but haven't finished it, probably will next summer, I do not have a test bench quite yet (refurnishing the room) so in order to not be incredibly disorganized it has been postponed. Good luck! Keep the projects coming, everyone sounds pretty busy with some good projects.

I'm working on getting my UHF repeater back on the air. Gotta fix the controller. Thats pretty much it.
