Hope not.

I keep my boat and 30 foot travel trailer at Rockport, about 25 miles up the coast from Corpus, about 200 yards from the bay.

XYL & I went down there Saturday evening, planning on a few days fishing. Now THIS !

Decided today (Monday) to hook up the boat to my truck and brought it home (just south of San Antonio). We are going back down there in the morning and asses the situation. We may very well decide to bring the travel trailer home too. Probably need to make a decision tomorrow by early afternoon. If necessary I will start home tomorrow late afternoon. I hate to haul the trailer after dark and know the traffic may be pretty bad. It will be worse though if I wait until Wednesday morning. A normal 2 hour trip could turn into a 10 to 12 hour ordeal.

This could suck big time if it comes in near Corpus. The residents there are really bull headed and most will not evacuate no matter what. Except for Padre Island, Texas doesn't have mandatory evacuation laws. I'm not even sure if they are legally mandatory on the Island. If it makes cat 3, it could be ugly in Corpus.

I will be playing it safe. (I hope).
