I thought they all went here: http://www.phonecoinc.com/

I've done the fire inspection at this place a few times. I've told my family if I ever get paged out for a fire at this location to leave town and up my life insurance. If it's related to telephones, and it exists, it is somewhere in this building.

Awesomely cool.

They have a 'museum' area that the public can go through. I was passing through one day and noticed an old telegraph key. I started tapping CQ on it and was quite surprised to find that it was hooked up to a sounder on the other side of the room.

As a wordsmith, I wonder if we'll ever replace the verb, dial--as in dialing a phone--since we don't do that anymore. Suggestions, anyone?

I can't remember the name of the movie, but there was a cute scene where a couple of teens went back in time and one of them wanted to use a telephone; the only one the girl saw was a phone booth with a rotary dial phone. So, she put her dime in the slot, put her finger in the holes one-at-a-time as if it were a pushbutton phone, then couldn't figure out why the phone wouldn't dial.

Did anyone reply? ( About the museum keyer, showed up here in the wrong place. Story of my life)

I trained my pet blackbird to dial a phone so he could make phone caws. The problem was, he kept dialing those 1-900 numbers so I was arrested for contributing to the delinquency of a mynah.
