ft 230 conversion from european to us freq coverage

Does anyone have or know where to obtain info on converting an ft230r to the 144-148 freq coverage? mods dk only had owners manual which doesn't provide any info.

Sorry yo state the obvious, but have you tries contacting Yaesu Technical Service?
Just be careful with "mods," often different models have different PC board versions, and what works with one revision for the EU Region, may not work with versions of the radio marketed in the U.S., and vice versa.
