I bet soldering the ground straps on that thing is a dangerous job. HI :D

Looks great Rashed, I have always enjoyed the pictures you post. The very best quality. They have a most insightful touch to them.

Interesting shadows on the sand...

Very nice setup. I've done mobile with a horse, which probably gives a much smoother ride -- and doesn't spit! :D

Is that a muzzle on the lead camel, or a mask to filter out blowing sand?

It is a mask my friend, at this time of the year and with the sort of wind we some time having , the sand travel in very high speed and makes the breathing real hard that why they mask is there.

The Shadows been edited using photo shop CS3, the camera was EOS-1Ds Mark III, I did a lot of cropping here and isolated some of the abstracts from the image.

Thank you my friend and wishing you all of the best, 73 my friend

If gas prices keep going up, I think we're ALL going to be camel mobile. :)

(Well, maybe moose mobile....I'm not sure how camels handle 40 below. )

Rashed, that is a beautiful photograph and very nice qsl card. I like the simple layout.

I had the opportunity to ride a camel when I was in the UAE many years ago and found it to be quite different from riding horses. The gate is uneven and seemed to be like riding a horse with five legs. Hi Hi. :) Still they are beautiful and noble animals.

If we can start getting our oil near you in AK instead of near Qatar we might get better fuel prices, but that is for another section of the forum.

My friend, oil products are very expensive even here, plam the the oil manufacturers, the sell many times higher than what they buy the oil for.

You also my friend paying only 20% of the food value comparing to what I have to bay for the same food here, and any other thing, you buy much cheaper than what I pay for it here.

I have no complain my friend, I wish you very peaceful and enjoyable life where you are.

My best regards to you and yours and 73 from the A7 land my friend
