Callsign needing change/updating ?

Hi -
Greg here, VK2MTC, from Australia - just asking about a callsign change/updating to your QRZ.com database for a friend....

I thought he might have been listed but it turns out that the callsign of VK2MMT had been listed to a Ta Taege who was living in Bundaberg Queensland but now residing in Nambour Queensland and he has had an upgrade to his licence and no longer VK2MMT and IS currently VK4BAT - please check with the ACMA Database for details

This person hasn't bothered to advise QRZ.com of his licence upgrade OR Location change and my friend NOW has the Callsign of VK2MMT which was issued to him a couple of months ago....

I believe he, Marshall, would like to have the use of the QRZ.com but cannot do so till the other party has rectified the database details - UNSURE of HOW to GO about getting this done - can someone please advise ....

The NEW holder of the Official ACMA Callsign of VK2MMT is John Marshall Thornton of Maitland NSW Australia.

Hello VK2MTC Greg,

I checked and found fomer VK2MMT has been updated to VK4BAT in QRZ com.
Also I found fomer database VK2MMT has been released, so that you or John VK2MMT(even myself) can amend its information to John's current one.

1) Go to: http://www.qrz.com/callsign/VK2MMT
2) Then click - Update this listing
3) This will bring you to a screen that allows a number of different options of things that can be modified.
Click on the appropriate one.
4) Enter the information you want edited.
5) Click on - Save Changes
6) Click on - Done
7) Click on - Done - return to "Your Callsign" listing.

No account of VK2MMT has been found in the database, so please advise John to create his account VK2MMT, then he can control his info himself.

So now you have no problem with VK2MMTat all.
