This Sunday past, the day after ARRL Field Day, my dear friend and mentor:
Bruce Rowe W2BAR past to the Ham Shack in our Father's Kingdom...
Bruce was Born on March 25th, 1942 and was an Active Ham till the end... He selflessly shared with all new and less fortunate Hams... He was truely an inspiration to all who knew him... He was a member of the Rip Van Winkle Amature Radio Club, and a member of the East Greenbush Amature Radio Club... He served as a Volunteer Fire Fighter in the town of Nassau, N.Y.
His XYL, Martha KC2MDY and Son's Christopher and Patrick survive him... I hope all who knew Bruce will join me next year for the ARRL Field Day as I will use his Call in Memoriam for it's last on air before it is retired in the Hall of Silent Keys... The Lord Bless and keep you my friend...
