Hello, there ...

When you click on "Detailed info", a field "CODES" appears next to the callsign. What does it mean? In the first place I thought that it's the license class - mine is A and under CODES I find "E" for my callsign.

Meanwhile, I'm not sure anymore ... Joe Walsh, WB6ACU, for instance, has "HAI" there and his class is EXTRA.

So what is it then? It was me who clicked the alert button and later I found that it's only for reporting inappropriate content. Sorry for that!

Thank you for your answers!

P. S.: When you send me a reply, you please could send me a short note under otmar_basan@web.de. Thanks.

Just click on "codes" for a list of the FCC classes (NOT the license class).

If you are looking up a ham licenced outside of the USA, the fcc site would be meaningless, as the FCC only licences US hams, and the codes you are asking about refer to US licences only.
