Anyone else having issues with QRZ logging them off? I would stay logged in on for months at a time and now in the last week or so I cannot stay logged in. Sometimes a day or so passes then I need to log back in other times it is just a few hours, I of course am using the REMEMBER ME.

Yep, that has been a problem since Fred changed to the new system. The old system WORKED good, the new system still has bugs I'm sure he is working very hard to resolve.
I know I post a good bit less now than before because of the constant logging in requirement - sometimes a couple of times a day. The less I post, the less times I visit the site.
I'm sure Fred and his group are working very hard to get the bugs out.

Did he do this the last week or so becasue I never had this issue with the "new" QRZ logging me out untill last week or so.. I thought maybe is was a computer setting on my end but none of my other forums are doing this even the ones using this same format.

I did like the old, but I am also on other fourms that use this very same software so I am used to it. I know change can be a pain but I am sure QRZ had there reasons. I really enjoy this QRZ fourm and I get alot out of it, so for that I thank them!

FYI
To the QRZ folks I will say the other frurms I am on that use this same software, they do run faster. I have no idea how volume and traffic affects this sorftware either.

Does it have anything to with being a paying customer or not???? I also notice that the search function is not exactly accurate when looking up posts. Still a great site for the money.......

The woodworking bulletinboard Sawmill Creek runs the exact same software and I stay logged in for months and months. This log in change in QRZ is only a few weeks old.

FWIW,
I've been having the same problem staying logged in, even when using 'remember me' ....
I was thinking it was something on my computers, but, running diagnostics, a disc clean up, a virus scan, and a adaware search, the problem is still occurring, and seemed to get worse after I cleaned everything up.

Same old same old. The most irritating part is the system not remembering posts read. I read through posts of interest and mark the forum as read, or even read everything in a forum, I come back, have to log on again, and threads show unread AGAIN even when I've read everything. I get threads showing unread that date back several days. This happens even if I consistently mark forums read. Something is not right. I suspect a buggy version. Sure hope the next upgrade shows an improvement. Btw, it aint the individual user preferences or habits or browser setup or anything else end user related. I've done this stuff for a living and even written the software. First time I've ever seen this problem with vB. There is definately something wrong with either the system config or the software. I'd take a look at the code but I rather not pay the license fee.
