Hi,
MI6TUX, Eoghan here. I'm co-founder of YoungHam along with James 2E0BMI and Steve M3SPF. YoungHam is a community for young radio enthusiasts: hams, shortwave listeners and radio experimenters; those interested in electronics, and those into technology/computers etc. We have forums, and IRC channel and an upcoming podcast. The URL is www.youngham.net and membership is free. We hope to have a HF/Echolink net started soon also and would love some new members and some support from you! We're not just for young people but we're trying to endorse amateur radio in young people. Hope you check us out - we got a LOT more to come!

Many thanks for the support! We need as many members as we can get, and any suggestions will be brought on board. We'll be moving servers soon and will start an audio or video podcast - all suggestions welcome!

Wow, keep up the good work! I'm glad to see something like this come along. I check the site now and then and will probably get more involved. Although, I don't think I can part with QRZ.com 100% hehe. I am glad to see a site like this put up for youth, I have always been a supporter of our own "hangout" places. Just my two cents, gear it towards high school aged people, they are mostly the age that will be active on online forums and such. (I know there are younger!!! but a majority are high school aged)

regardless, congrats :)

PS. Add this to you college apps hehe.... especially if your going for IT or Computer Science! It's neat to see a full website maintained by what seems to be mostly young hams!

Looks really cool. I joined.
BTW VE6WTF, I know what you mean. I ran out of spaces on my IE Linksbar long ago. I have forgotten about most of them.

yeah,
Well I normally soon find out which ones arent really worth my time.
Eham, and QRZ take up most of it.
Though I dont post on Eham I love to read the articles and look at some of the gear in the classifieds.

I'll check that out - just editing database query stacks at the moment - I'll keep you up to date if I can get it sorted for you.

By the way, we have email addressed available now, given to us by the lovely folks at Google. Send me a PM on QRZ or on YH Forums, or an email, and i'll hook you up with a @youngham.net email address. They're in limited supply (for now) :p
