In 1994, when the video is dated, Cheney was supporting the stance of another President. That was his job at the time.
Cheney may still feel the same way today, but Cheney isn't President.
The U.S. has been a quagmire from it's beginnings, haven't heard anyone claim it's time to stop this experiment in governance yet?

I can think of a lot of reasons why they're similar, but this video proves nothing and is more of a propaganda fluff piece just to make them look stupid. Anyone that thinks that they're stupid just doesn't understand what it takes to be in that position. Now, as to whether they're both misguided right-wing zealots (Bush more so than McCain) that have little clue about the needs of the average America, well that's another story. But, videos like this only serve to make the 'other side' look petty since it doesn't focus on issues or anything of any relevance. NH, I agree that they're both misguided and extremist wackos, but this kind of propaganda DOES NOT help the cause of pointing out why they're fundamentally wrong on so many issues, it actually does disservice to the facts in my opinion. Funny, but not politically relevant in my opinion.

Actually, it shows that these guys are joined at the hip. The vids prove the allegation and there will be many more before November. Problem is that you can fool some of the people all of the time. When you see red states on the election tally on Election Day, remember that. There should be a national initiative to spay them before they manage to lower the collective IQ any further by having offspring.
