I would say O.B. is getting daily lessons in the fine art of kissing butts, from both camps since he kicked so many of them during the campaign.

A second source said that the former president has kept his distance because he still does not believe Mr Obama can win the election.
Not that he didn't do his part to keep his wife from winning.

The Clintons are hardcore politicians and everyone already knew about their plan for 8 years of Bill and 8 years of Hillary in the White House. ;)
I'm sure the Big O is a source of personal infuriation to both the Clintons. Like life married to Hillary is a bowl of cherries!? Even when she's happy! :D

They can both kiss my dog's butt...but I bet the dog wouldn't let em get close enough to. Clinton (either flavor) and Obama are poor examples of what a President or aspiring President should be. Clinton never got my vote and Obama never will.

The paper cited an anonymous Democratic source who provided the quote. That source also said Clinton is not making the primary effort to bridge the chasm between himself and Obama.
It must be true, anonymous sources never lie.

Anonymous sources seem to lie far less than attributed sources. They have less reason to. The key to this tale is not the source, but the subject. Can anyone honestly state that the alleged comment or conduct would not closely fit a Bill-Clinton pattern? Clinton is known to be as much a hothead as McCain, and his ability to spout fits the ancient dictum "facilis descensus Averni est" to a tee. Gutter and Hell are synonymous in Clinton's world.
It is analogous to Nelson Rockefeller flipping the bird, or to George McGovern grabbing a newsman's sleeve and whispering "**** you!" loudly enough to have been overheard by several others.
What is astonishing to me is that the usual clique of Clinton apologists (the same kindergarten of knickers-wetters mentioned elsewhere) feel the need to deprecate what is a very likely scenario in an effort to defend the indefensible. Where can one find a better definition of prostituting oneself than in this thread?
