Woman accused of spying for China at Motorola
By Chuck Goudie(WLS) -- A Chinese spy was caught "red-handed," according to federal authorities, as she was about to board a plane at O'Hare bound for Beijing.
Hanjuan Jin says she worked as a computer engineer for Schaumburg-based Motorola, a global leader in communications technology.
Federal agents say Jin was also working as a spy for a Chinese company, and she has been charged in a corporate espionage case that reflects a growing national security problem

The speed of China's economic growth has been amazingly fast - fast like the hands of a well-trained pickpocket. Why design systems and hardware when you can steal it for much less. The concept of honor and property rights doesn’t exist in China. Along with the US, they are stealing technological secrets in Canada, Europe and Israel. Any business or government that has the inside track on technology they show up to steal through their exchange students, business people and engineers.

Along with the US? Care to back that one up?
With friends like China, who needs enemies?

Do you believe this is an isolated case? Stories like this one have ran for years now. Chinese come here regularly as tourists with a shopping list of things to acquire. Only a small percentage of "export banned" items are caught at the airports by security.
Chinese nationals are employed in "security sensitive" areas all over America.
The practice is just plain dumb.
