Absolutely fantastic amp! Capable of well over the legal limit and built as solid as a rock. Just take a look at pictures of the construction on their web page. I have had the amp for about six months and have zero complaints. I have used it on 80-10 with advertised results. The manual even has (for each amp made) individual tuning settings for the amp which enables you to get to a good starting point for tuning. This amp does not tune like your basic triode amplifier, so it is imperative that you understand the tuning procedure in the manual. While adjusting to the tuning procedure, the screen current overload protection circuit never failed to kick in and protect the tubes. My only caveat is THIS AMP IS HEAVY! Make sure you don't have a weak back or flimsy table for it. I have no interest in the company, no desire to do anything except let other hams no that this amplifier does more for less money than any other amp on the market.
By the way, if you really want to make it cook, tap the amp to operate at 200V. Beware the filament voltage goes up, too. The Plate voltage also rises, but apparently the tubes are capable of handing the additional voltage without any problems. If you do this, you do it at your own risk, and it is pretty hard to keep your output at the legal limit... I actually measured 2800 watts out with a Bird and 5kw 50 ohm dummy load with 80 watts drive in this configuration.
