Hi everyone, I just passed my Technician and General test and need my new callsign added to the database. My callsign is:

KC2TOH

My current username is ADK. How do I go about getting my username changed to my callsign and getting my callsign added to the database?

Thanks,
KC2TOH -- Mike

The database updates itself for US amateurs, so you should appear soon.

If you send an email to the editors, with your callsign in the subject line, then tell them what you would like done.

Congrats!

Thanks KUODM. I am having a hard time finding an email for the editors. Do you have any idea what that is?

I think I found it:

support@qrz.com

am I right?

Yep!

EMAIL is always the best way to contact QRZ. Our general email inbox is located at support@qrz.com . Please note that we have agressive anti-SPAM filters installed and there is a chance that your message to us could be mistakenly rejected. To prevent such email rejection, make sure that every message you send to us contains the magic word: callsign . When our filters see this word, they treat the message as legitimate. The callsign keyword may appear anywhere in the message or on the subject line.

A typical email to QRZ should look like this:

To: support@qrz.com
Subject: callsign xx1xxx (&lt- your callsign here)

Please be as descriptive as possible when telling us about your problem. Always mention your callsign in the in the message, especially if you're having a problem.

Again, congrats!

KC9JWA, Good luck with your Extra. I am going to have to study for a while for that one. I will have to order the NEW study guide. I wonder how different it will be compared to the current Extra. Does anyone know?

Thanks, everyone for you help. Everything on QRZ seems to be working fine for me know.

Mike, Congratulations on passing your Technician and General Exam. I live in Essex County, NY also in Chesterfield. I would be interested in getting a club formed in Essex County with anyone that is interested. Email me if your have any questions or want to have a QSO just let me know the freq. and time.

Thanks Jim.. That would be great to get a club going. There are a few guys in
my Town and Ticonderoga that might be interested. Also, Essex County has a
RACES group, but it hasn't been very active since they moved to the new place in
Lewis. I am trying to join that.

You must have a great location if you live on Highlands Drive. What repeaters can you hit from your house? You can catch me on the Belfry
repeater and the Equinox repeater, I also try to check into the North Country
Weather NET 145.110 at 7PM and the Green Mtn. Net on 3.933 when I can. Let me
know and we can have a QSO on HF sometime soon.
