I was wondering when you will be converting to the new question pool for the new extra class test. I understand that it will go in to affect on July 1,2008. I have been using the new pool of questions to be prepared for the July testing. Thanks

I had the same question. There are no dates on the testing pool questions, so I didn't want to go through questions that will be discarded in two days.
Are the current questions in the extra portion of the exam from the old pool or the new pool?
Thanks.

New pool is in effect from 07/2008 - 08/2012.
I have been using the practice tests at: http://aa9pw.com/ (http://aa9pw.com/)
I like the set up here better but this other is better than nothing.
I fell I am ready to take my test on 07/02/2008 at my club Orlando Amateur Radio Club. ;)

Thanks for the tip! I looked their format over, and it seems to be similar to ham.net's. Like you, I like the immediate feedback as is given here, but it is better than nothing.

Hi KJ4DIY here just wanted to let you know how much these Practice Tests help.
I took my Extra Class test last night at our Orlando Amateur Radio Club meeting.
I passed with a score of 98 not bad for a 64 year old beginner in Ham Radio.
Went from Tech to Ex in 2 ½ months.
I want to encourage everyone young and old if I can do it so can you!;)
