HTX-420 Speaker Mic - Icom to Radio Shack Wiring

I need to convert an Icom handheld speaker mic to the RS HTX-420 handheld. Does anyone have a wiring schematic or advice on this?

Ok, my turn for 2 stupid questions. Does the radio take a 2-pin style mic? Did you just plug it in and try it first?

The last RS HT I owned took the Icom speaker mic as is.
