Actually I admire the old gal - Hell I'd even vote for her. :)

It should be quite easy for many Democrats to vote McCain in Nov. Most knowledgable Democrats know McCain as their friend in the Senate. :(
Win-win situation for the Democrats this time around. Too bad about what they'll do with it. :mad:

She's right about the democratic party. They are a bunch of sell outs. But the sell out didn't just happen this election. It happened many many elections ago. The problem is that they all suck. None of them deserve to be elected.

I don't personally like any of our choices for this election. Perhaps it's a side effect of the entire system of how candidates come to be eligible to receive votes.
I will believe in the system again when a nonpolitical shopowner in rural America finds his name on the ballot for President of the United States. Until then, it all stinks like a chickenhouse in summer.

The division between Paul and McCain is many times larger than the divide between Obama and Clinton. I mean the percentages of Paul supporters will vote for someone else or not at all rather than vote for McCain. So really this is probably a wash between what McCain loses to Paul supporters and to what Obama loses to Clinton supporters who will not stay with the party.

Maybe you better get out of whatever you're taking a little while? At least long enough to realize that Ron Paul totaled less than 1 million popular votes in the primaries! :eek::rolleyes::D:p
