Hey everyone! I'd like to know about any school clubs that you know of that are ACTIVE or at least still barely there (a few members, active but not much). I am participating in a project for the RIT amateur radio club and compiling a list of known active clubs. E-mail information/website/contact info would be a great help as well.
Thanks,
Brent

esrac has about 12 members, and about 15 supporters.
the supporters are people who can not become a member because they aren't electrical enginieering students. Not all our members have a license but most do, they are:
PA4KUN, PE5JV, PE1RRO,PE2TYS, PA4BRT and me PE2YSB,
some of our supporters with a license are:
PD5J (My YL), PG5D, PD3VCC, PC5A, PA0SHY
as you can see, most of our members aren't HAM's yet. they became a member to participate in our other activities, like the trip to München, or the summer BBQ :D
In my experience, it works best if you try to get peolpe interessed in your club first, and in HAM radio second.

The website is a bit outdated, but they are still active. In fact, I've been known to be seen in their shack when I'm back home :)
W9YT - Badger Amateur Radio Society - University of Wisconsin - Madison ARC
Website is fairly kept up to date... http://w9yt.engr.wisc.edu/
W0YC - Gopher Amateur Radio Club at the University of Minnesota
Still rather active ....

Ok, I have been going online as well as adding from this forum... Created an open office database... and have sent out a few e-mails but not all from the list. I have the contact info of about 20 possibly active clubs and will send out more e-mails soon! I am really exited to see where this goes!

W8YY, Husky Amateur Radio Club at Michigan Technological University:
http://w8yy.resnet.mtu.edu/mediawiki/index.php/Main_Page
A lot of the info there is outdated, but the front page is usually kept up to date during the year. Last year, our membership went from from 9 to 18 after we ran a license class and VE session on campus. We've been active in public service, providing support for parades in Houghton, the Lake Superior Performance Rally, and the UP 200 and Midnight Run dogsled races. We also operated special event station W8C for MTU's Winter Carnival.
Also take a look at Michigan State, W8SH.
