I dont know if you guys much care for Canadian politics,
But I myself find this VERY sickening... Im sure you guys have heard a little bit about the 400 dollar cheques handed out to EVERY!!! albertan last year as there was an excess 1.5 billion or some dollars floating around late last winter.
Well seems that the premier has found a new way to spend the overflow of income due to albertas booming economy as a result of the oilfield industry not only province-wide but mostly from the oil sands near Fort Mcmurry.
The solution: Lets pay ourselves first!!!
Premier Ed Stelmach gave himself and his cabinet ministers raises in excess of 54,000 Canadian a year making him the highest paid Premier in Canada.
I find this quite sickening, he is now getting paid MORE for the duties he has to perform regularily just like every other premier in canada.
Wish I could grant myself a raise....
