I know you guys are entangled with your own election but spare a thought for the poor old UK. The so called Europarliament is now looking at ways to silence what it refers to as dissidents by banning smaller pressure groups within elected MEPs (Member of European Parliament) thus silencing its critics. Even federalists in Brussels are alarmed. But then when has democracy ever stopped the EU? Most Brits want out of the EU but as usual the government propped up by its corporate sponsors know a good old gravy train when they see one - except we pay and cannot even vote out a lawmaker (commissioner). How long would you guys put up with that?

Help us get out of the undemocratic EU - else it will be happening to you next..

Too late. Our politicians here in the USA want to join together Canada, USA and Mexico to form the North American Union.

It will be the worst day ever for the people. George Washington would not be impressed - you could say bye bye to your constitution as no doubt a whole new set of rules will be decided by unelected officials to be "debated" by your national government (yeah right). Perhaps the EU was a test bed or experiment to see if it could be done. If it is to be anything like the EU then fear the worst.

Another example of the powers-that-be forgetting their place.
A few years back we had a tiny example of government officials forgetting that they lived in a democratic society. The local town board officials tried, as quietly as possible, introducing zoning laws in our small township which would have seriously hindered some of our present freedoms. When our neighbor heard about it, he started making it pubic and got a few of us to join him on going door-to-door with information about zoning and how it would affect all of us. Enough townspeople vocalized their opposition to zoning and signed a petition that it killed the proposition. The local newspaper printed a story with a quote from one of the town board members as saying "Zoning would now be in effect if Mr. Morgan and his lieutenants hadn't interfered." My jaw probably hit the floor when I saw the quote referring to citizens, who used their American right of free speech and the democratic process, as "lieutenants" who had "interfered". Talk about "power going to their head"...

What appears to be going on has a common world-wide theme. In nearly every western "democracy" I see similar things happening. The conclusion is world government run in not so democratic ways as our present systems. Same old story: money and power subjugating the will of the people. They think they can quietly do this whilst people eat their Big Macs in front of the TV.

It's working very well here, so far. One of our top Democrats, Hillary Clinton, has already made one of her infamous quotes to illustrate the matter vividly, "We're going to take from you for the common good". Socialism moves forward in the U.S., via the Democratic Party. We'll soon be disarmed, as Brits, and powerless to stop anything. :o

And it's taken an even larger step towards controll by the republican president who cheated his way to the top, misled the folks of this great democracy and to quote one of the top republicans "SO"...

That's it, stay fixated on Bush. Look up 'lame duck', it might help release the grip Bush holds on your mind. :)

I guess Bush is a bit like Hillary on FL & MI? :)

How about Charles Manson?

Ain't Charlie a hoot! Last interview that I watched, he's even crazier today than ever before. Man those eyes are wild. ;)

If Bush had a little Manson in him, he'd have already talked Congress into repealing the 22nd Amendment and be President for life. :D

You know Charlie is a good Democrat? Even sends the girls out to kill Republican Presidents! Even Hillary is banking on assasination as a possible means for her rise to the Presidency lately.

Dont count on any help from us, we have the same owners as you, the world bank. We take what they dish out, and have no say in it.

Just implant me with the RFID chip already, get it over with.

With Israel at the apex. It's for your own good brother, we're all going to heaven.

BTW: If people had a will there wouldn't be a problem.
