What kind of music do you all listen to? I listen to rock and country. I also like to play a lot of Music on my guitar anyone else play an instrument?:D

I listen to a little of every thing from the 50s till now.
I tried to play the guitar throughout middle school didnt work out so good, lol.:p

Thats cool I got my first guitar wen i was 12 and ive been playing ever sense it kind of runs in the family though. Its been 3 years ive been playing now and recently i decided to take lessons from a family friend and its helped a bit. I hate classical, just not my style.

Red Hot chili peppers sound good. (most of their songs) P.O.D. Tom Petty has 1 or 2 good songs.

I will listen to most rap, hip-hop, and rock. Not to much into the 80's/classics; but I will listen to them every once in a while. I'm not to picky.

listen to oldies mostly 60's and 70's, anything from about '61 with the advent of rock, to the late 80's, with the exception of Disco...

Also been known to listen to blues...

You'll find everything from Nickleback to the Beatles, to Stevie Ray Vaughan, to Kenny Wayne Shepherd and ZZ Top in my collection...

I mostly listen to rock, blues, jazz, grunge, rock'n'roll, some punk and crossover. A little electronic music as well, from selected artists like AIR and Kraftwerk.

Years ago, I used to play the piano and bass guitar; nowadays I only play some music on the Morse key.

Oh, and I am known for my terrible karaoke singing.

I am into pretty much everything except metal and rap. Most of my music includes

Dispatch (http://www.dispatchmusic.com) - AMAZING Funk/Rock just plain awesome band (hihi... from BOSTON!!!)
Dispatch is also one of the most successful independent bands in history, their last perfomance in Boston was free and attracted about 110,000 people by word of mouth!

As for instruments... I mainly play guitar but also a little bass and drums. I've been playing for about nine years now. Brent (KB1LQD) and I are in an on and off band with a few friends, we played a few gigs last year and maybe some fun stuff this summer. Cool part about last year was one of the gig was a high school show with about 600 people... that was crazy!

We also played at a 24 hour relay that we were running in (most members of the a band had already run about 8 miles each... we finished with a ten member team total of 152... that hurt, real bad hihi). Clips of the show are on youtube. Brent is playing drums while I am on the right playing guitar and sang. Our two friends played guitar, bass, and sang. By the way, the other guitarist is also licensed! We covered a few songs for this one:

Unfourtunatly RIT has been insane and I havent been able to play much intil now, im quite rusty hihi so hopefully i'll get back in the groove again...
