Better to deal with the credit bureaus than with pay services like this.

I couldn't get the link to open.......

Cut and paste works fine.

As the article notes, this fellow charges $10 dollars a month for what one can do for free. A sucker is born every minute.

I tried all sorts of ways to get to the story. It looks like the link is expired now.

More time wasted.

his stunt has led to at least 87 instances in which people have tried to steal his identity, and one succeeded: a guy in Texas who duped an online payday loan operation last year into giving him $500 using Davis' Social Security number.

Serves them right. Those payday loan outfits are parasites on society, making money off some poor sucker who finds himself in an unfortunate bind, by charging him an exorbitant (and often illegal) interest rate.

Sorry, but that guy is a moron.
Who in their right mind would give out their SSN to the whole world?
He should have listened to the age old advice..."Never challenge a geek!"
IMO, he had it coming to him!

I wonder how many wetbacks are using his SSN....
