TEST - Photo Links not working right

Photo album feature gives links to photos:

But they don't actually link to photos, or show up in posts.

Test INSERTING IMAGE BELOW this line of text...

And ABOVE this line of text.

This is interesting. When using links from the photo album, they do not show up in the posts at all using Internet Explorer. Someone else says they can see the photo in the post. Why can just SOME people see the photos and not everyone?

If I post a link ending with ".jpg" then it will show up for me, but not if it is as the above link.

I find that NORMAL links, that end in ".jpg" or "gif" will show up fine...

Can you see the bottom image or only the first one?

So how come I can only see the QRZ logo? No hint of a second image at all shows on my screen. :confused:

I have tried this now on four different computers using IE 6, IE 7, and Firefox 2. Operating systems include NT 4.0, Windows XP Professional, Windows Server 2000, and Windows XP x64. I could NOT see the pictures from the QRZ photo album unless I was logged in to the QRZ site; be it my photo album or yours. As soon as I logged in, I could see all the pictures. I figured possibly you were not logged in, but that would not make sense since you were posting to the forums.

So I tried an experiment. I set Firefox to prompt me regarding cookies and would DENY them for the QRZ forum. (I was prompted I believe for seven cookies.) I could repeatedly log in but I would NOT see the QRZ user photo album pictures; yours or mine. I would see the QRZ logo picture you posted and the TRIPOD picture that comes up with rejected cross site linking, but the MSNBC poll you posted and the transistor symbol I posted were not visible. I logged in repeated, rejecting cookies, and got the same results; i.e. no photo album pictures were shown. A soon as I logged in and accepted the cookies, the pictures appeared.

Thus anyone that rejects cookies or anyone browsing the forums that are not logged in WILL NOT see the images linked from the photo albums. Possibly this is on purpose to prevent cross site linking of the pictures on other web sites; using QRZ as a "free" host.
