Help - Someone got there first....

Hi,

I was attempting to add an entry for our radio club's QSL Manager, Eric G0WHL, ahead of a special event station that we are running this weekend (Ellenroad Radio Club, GB0ESM - www.ellenroadradioclub.org.uk). Eric doesn't have internet access of his own, and asked me to do it for him. Imagine my surprise when I clicked on the 'update this listing' link and received a message saying:

"The callsign G0WHL currently has another user: LA7MNA, listed as its administrative contact."

This came as a complete surprise to us, as we don't even know who LA7MNA is, and there aren't any details on the page anyway. Possibly a mistake somewhere, but we really need to get some contact details on this page before our event, or this may well create even more confusion.

Have you tried to reach him over his emailadress hika@tele2.no ?? This is his emailadress from his database ....

Thank you for the prompt response, all is now working okay, and I was just able to update Eric's page successfully. Your assistance was greatly appreciated.

Thanks also to Juergen for the suggestion, I did think of doing that, but was worried that a reply might have been a long time coming, and that someone other than the LA station could have made that entry using his callsign maliciously and without his knowledge.

Everything is fine now, so all's well that ends well.
