W8M - special event celebrating the spring raptor and waterfowl migration from the Whitefish Point Bird Observatory near Paradise, Michigan (Chippewa County).
Dozens of bird species congregate here each spring to rest during their migration. Strong fliers cross over into Canada here - other species continue east to Sault Ste. Marie. Thousands of avid birders visit the point during the spring migration for the rich viewing opportunities.
