Do you think that Syria has nukes and if so why hasn't Israel done anything about it?
Is Israel concerned that if it takes on Syria that Iran will get involved?
WASHINGTON - The White House said Thursday that North Korea did secret work on a nuclear reactor with Syria, calling it "a dangerous and potentially destabilizing development for the world" and raising doubts about Pyongyang's intention to carry through with a promised disclosure of its nuclear activities.
Seven months after Israel bombed the site, the White House broke its silence and said North Korea assisted Syria in a secret nuclear program and that the destroyed facility was not intended for "peaceful purposes."
The allegations could undermine six-party negotiations to try to resolve the nuclear standoff with North Korea.

Right.
If it was as they say they would have publicized it immediately, this administration is all about hype and fear. That they are making these claims now so long after the fact historically means that they are lying and have some ulterior motive they are pursuing. Given the past record of this WH it's probably something unsavory, risky and dumb. Perhaps even illegal.

Israel took out their nuke site in september and will take out Iran in due time. Take it to the bank.

A certain clandestine section of Syria is also glowing in the dark, methinks! :D
Now if we only knew where Syria is hiding Saddam's WMD's... a joint strike force would take those out.

I recall the news report that Israel had made a strike inside Syria and Syria only half heartedly complained. Israel at first denied any strike but then shortly admitted the strike with no real explanation of the target, except it was a military target. The story seemed to quickly die at the time. I can easily see why none involved wanted to shed much light on the whole affair now.

And why would that be? It would be in Israels best interest to crow about hitting a nuke facility close to home. Likud loves that kind of thing even more than the Republicans do.

I do not recall the Israelis being very quick to "crow", they just take care of business and let the rest of the world catch up. :)

Is it that Europe is secular? Yup, they think you are loons. Doesn't hurt them in any way though, looks like it makes for a stronger social bond overall. And they seem much happier and content. Not to mention the markedly higher quality of life in comparison with yours.
I would think a hair shirt would be uncomfortable and miserable, qualities that I wouldn't associate with my neighbors here.
