Apparently CNN is being accused of bias against the Chinese and their exports to the US.

[Jack] Cafferty said the United States imported Chinese-made "junk with the lead paint on them and the poisoned pet food" and added: "They're basically the same bunch of goons and thugs they've been for the last 50 years"...
...Cafferty's words insulted all Chinese people and "intentionally caused mental harm" to the plaintiffs, the Ta Kung Pao newspaper reported on Thursday...
"We hope CNN will take this seriously, because what CNN said and did has not only hurt China's feelings, but also CNN's own image."
Waaaah, you hurt our feelings, what a joke. Last time I checked China HAS been selling lead painted plastic junk, as well as tainted pet food, though they always claim they're raising their standards. Not to mention that their government has also had a history of suppression and brutality for quite a long time (Tiananmen Square, Tibet, etc. etc. etc.) We can thank our current administration, as well as the last two administrations (Bush, Sr. for the favored nation status, Clinton for continuing it, Bush, Jr. for increasing it) for putting us in debt to China and increasing the amount of complete junk that they import into this country. Anyone remember when it used to be the joke to see "Made In Japan" on something, now I think I'd rather see that than all this Chinese made cheap junk. I've got some equipment made in Japan that's actually quite nice.
(Uh oh, I've insulted the Chinese government on an international website, will I now be sued?!?! That's OK, I've got nothing to give right now anyway.)

Another bout of being (almost) speechless with shock that this would actually happen. But there it is. So what happens when we can't afford our payments to Communist (Red) China. That's going to be some court case!

You people that believe that the U.S. is in debt to China are a funny bunch! We have a trade deficit with them but that doesn't mean we owe them money, it just means we buy more from them than they buy from us.

The rational side of me says I should just keep ignoring you. Your statements are so ludicrous and without any basis in facts that I wonder about your cognitive functions. Or, more to the point, I'll simply recommend beefsteak for the black eyes you must have (your black eyes must have black eyes), as vigorously as you've knee-jerked lately.
Here's the scoop from Bloomberg...
The U.S. became ever more reliant on China to finance its way of life. Rather than keeping its budget in balance or its current account from getting out of whack, the U.S. borrowed more and more from cash-rich Asian governments. China is fast gaining on Japan to become the biggest holder of U.S. debt.
The upshot is that the U.S. isn't just relying on China to produce most of its consumer goods; Asia's No. 2 economy is also bankrolling the U.S. financial system.

If you want to be more effective in political discussions, I would suggest that you actually study and become knowledgable in what you're talking about.

What a sap! The biggest part of the U.S. national debt is money we owe us. We're the biggest bunch of suckers in the world, forgiving the massive debt that was owed to the U.S. by other nations. Smile at the Asians and say oops, we default! A 300% tariff on all imported goods from China would clear your national debt in amazingly short order. A nice fat raise in the cheap price of exported grain would do the same.
Not a single candidate for POTUS will touch the word China in debate, wonder why?
Just keep shopping at WalMart suckers and whining like the babies that you are.
