The Elmendorf AFB Amateur Radio Club is sponsoring a special event staion for the Arctic Thunder 2008 Air Show at Elmendorf on 28 June.
This is a first time event for the KL7AIR Club Station and we are looking forward to making contacts.
A Special One Day QSL Card is being built for the event. It will also be part of the ongoing celebration of the 50th Year of Statehood for Alaska.
Listen for us on 20m mainly, but we will try 17m and perhaps 15m as the day wears on. Planning on starting up about 1600UTC on Saturday 28 June.
