Namely, the Simpson's, Family Guy, and American Dad. I rate Family Guy No. 1 because every episode of that that I watch is so chock-full of clever creativity. Some of the knock off lines by Brian and Stewie just break me up, like when Stewie calls Brian "Dogbert." How do those guys come up with this week after week....and how glad am I that there's lots and lot of repeats?
And who can't just love Roger in American Dad?
No need to say anything about the venerable institution of the Simpsons.
How can one network be so schizo? Or is it that the news is meant to be the most cutting satire of all? Maybe it's all enclosed in implied sarcasm quotes? And showing, not real people, but caricatures? Well, that thought will at least make an experience like this morning a little less unberable.

There have actually been a number of jokes on The Simpson's about the difference between Fox News and the general Fox Broadcasting network. Rupert Murdoch even appeared in an episode and called himself a ruthless tyrant or something like that, it was funny. Actually, I think there was a reference in the Family Guy FCC episode too (one of my favorite episodes!)
So, I'm not sure why there is such a difference between the two, as has been pointed the people at Fox haven't created these shows, they just profit from them. That's probably the key right there, profit.
Anyway, those are all great shows, in my opinion there is no higher level of social satire around then Family Guy, The Simpson's, American Dad, and King Of The Hill. I am also amazed by the people that write all that stuff, that they can come up with all those references and story lines, really amazing. (Did you see "Blue Harvest", the Family Guy Star Wars special? It's awesome, get the DVD version for some extra scenes as well, too damn funny.)
I'd also add to the list of shows that don't fit the perceived "Fox" mentality: House, Bones, 'Til Death, Back To You, and The War At Home (which has since been canceled but was a great and hilarious show.)
So, who knows why there is this weird duality with Fox Broadcasting, but I'm a big fan of their broadcast network, their "news" network goes in the list with the rest of the propagandist "news" outlets that are oh so popular these days.
(And, Roger is cool!)

FOX (News Corp) is a business. They exist only to generate income. They do that by selling a product. If liberal news was just as profitable then they would probably have a liberal slant.

It's the new where they apply their creativity.
