With APPOLOGIES to Carrie Underwood
"Right now he's probably slow dancing with a bleach blonde YL,
and she's probably getting frisky...
right now, he's probably buying her some fruity little drink cause she can't shoot whiskey...

Right now, he's probably up behind her with a pool-stick, showing her how to shoot a combo...

And he don't know...

That I dug my key into the Display of his pretty Yaesu FT-9000
carved my name into his DX LOGBOOK
I took a Louisville slugger to his SR-2000,
slashed all the coaxes going up to the tower.

Maybe next time he'll think before he cheats.

Right now, she's probably up singing some
white-trash version of Shania karaoke..
Right now, she's probably saying "I'm drunk"
and he's a thinking that he's gonna get lucky,
Right now, he's probably dabbing on 3 dollars worth of that bathroom polo
And he don't know...

That I deleted his Logbook of the World files
Bootlegged his call in the Foreign DX Band,
I took the Louisville slugger to his new SX-88
Loaded up the ALpha into his SB-303
Maybe next time he'll think before he cheats.

I might've saved a little trouble for the next girl,
Cause the next time that he cheats...

Oh, you know it won't be on me!

Ohh... not on me...
Cause I rewired his shack from 110 to 220
Sold his Best Hallicrafters on Ebay for a Buck
I took the Louisville slugger to all the HTs,
Canceled his subscription to QST...

Maybe next time he'll think before he cheats.

Ohh.. Maybe next time he'll think before he cheats...

Ohh... before he cheats..."

(OH, wives get VENGEFUL!!!)

If you have to lock your shack up because your wife wants to smash your gear to pieces, your marriage has major issues.

Man that was great.

My XYL won't do that to me though.

1. I don't cheat
2. She's a ham too

I agree with your comment, but shouldn't we secure our stations from un-authorized use?

Some country music has been violent and racist for a long time.

I heard some old country songs that make gangsta rap sound like songs from sesame street.

Thats why I like YANNI! Good clean wholesome music with no WORDS getting in the way of the melody! Most country music seems to be about Wives having cheating husbands,Broken hearts, Divorces, etc. One classic song, INDEPENDENCE DAY, was about a wife who had an abusive husband, so she burned the house down!!!
Most Rap music is about how the Boys from the HOOD are in the mean streets, having cops after them, having to do Crack and ducking Drive bys.

Like who? My cats? They'd have to work their way out of the main section of the house to get to the shack. I wish them luck. ;) :D

My friend from high school put it bluntly

A rapper will take a gun and blow someone else's brains out
A rocker will take a gun and blow his own brains out
A country singer will just get drunk and start shooting all over the place

Drugs, sex and guns seem to be all music is about these days.

Whats ironic is if a guy had wrote that song only talking about how he would tear up his GF/wifes stuff if he caught her cheating, everyone would say he was a monster that should be locked up.

Nothing like the double standards of political correctness :D

Steel gee-tars and a country twang. And the ability to sing a tune, not just chant one.

You just dont hear too many dolbro s in a rap song.

Do you know why the lyrics of rap songs dont get published ?
The singers dont know what the words are either.

crap -minus the c = rap.

the song was released solely because she needed to secure a little more demographic by toughening up her sweetheart image mainly in a response to miranda lambert releaseing "kerosene", her video's are for the most part knockoffs of faith hill video's, zero originality, zero heart and soul, just another pop bubblegum wrapper to pimp to the masses, take away her producers and what do you have, a "country" singing still skinny britney spears just waiting to pull a tidy bowl man in the toilet of life.

talent isn't required by "marketable" people these days...

I thought Country & Folk used to be about love, sex, social class, the difficulty in making a living & life's vicissitudes in general. I hope most of it still is regardless of instrumental accompaniment. This rap (crap) "music" gets a very high negative score from me.

There's more to Country music than meets the human ear. Slim Whitman saved the world in Mars Attacks and Tom Jones didn't even move them. Now I wonder what would happen to Martians at Woodstock when Jimi Hendrix played the National Anthem? Hard to say, I was on Mars at the time.

...and Jimi would have been too stoned to remember ANYTHING...

Edit: On second glance, this Underwood character's "type" of country music appears one step removed from what we colloquially refer to as goat-ropin'...

Brittany Spears was great as were her songs before she went on the road to ruin. SOMETHING changed her life and it went downhill from there. Maybe it was PUBERTY.

spears, underwood, neither of them can sing worth a damn, there is so much production work done on them in the mixxing booth it's not even funny, aguilerra on the other hand can sing her ass off live and unplugged... don't mistake a very good sound man at the mixxer for singing ability.
