It says frequency 540 or 54.0 on the lable. I wonder if this was a driver for a shake table.

Considering he's selling a whole slew of high power industrial RF heating generators and a plastic sealing press that's what the one in question is. Being "power oscillators" they have all the basics for building amps but one might wonder where to put the missing power supply caps and the usual tank circuits. First you chuck the tubes, then drilling and blasting begins or just take it all apart and start over from scratch. It has been done since heavy metal has always been very expensive.

What, no CB comments? Amazing, simply amazing! (;->)

I initially couldn't see the water-cooled tube(s) but on looking again,I do see them,(hence this edit)which makes the other tubes rectifiers, which on reflection, they do look like.

Tubes are similar looking to B/C types, but I don't recognise them.Still, industrial stuff had a parallel evolution with B/C,so maybe fairly close to types we know.

All the parts are big & beefy ,fairly typical AM B/C type stuff.

It might be worthwhile for a ham club with big premises who live down the road, but most of the stuff would probably never be used.

Nice nostalgia piece, though, for those of us OFs who worked with big RF stuff.:)

I could use this as a mobile amp in my VW Love Bus, but I don't know where I'd connect the water-cooling:confused::confused::confused:

kd8dey,

Geezus H. Monte Cristo in a handbasket dude! Your signature looks like the fine print in a Popiel Pocket Fisherman comercial. Shouldn't you have your hat size and dentist's address in there someplace?
