Today I bought some Pennsylvania Dutchman button mushrooms from our local convenient store to put on a pizza. I opened the jar and sampled one before I put it on the pizza....thankfully!! It tasted and smelled like paint thinner.
Nasty Nasty Nasty!!!!!
On the label it said 'Product of China'.
Don't buy Pennsylvania Dutchman mushrooms to eat. They are OK for removing stains from your underwear, but not fit to eat.
China....'Most Favored Nation'......it's hard to say that when I am vomiting.

Weeeeeelllll.....
Some things to take into consideration when buying mushrooms:
1. The name "Pennsylvania Dutch" is a corrupt form of the term "Pennsylvania Deutsch" and the reason why they have GERMAN (Deutsch) ancestry. That right there should have been your first red flag.
2. With lead paint, unsafe toys, and your bad mushrooms, I have NO DOUBT that the Chinese are trying to kill every capitalistic imperialist American that they can. Can you imagine driving a Chinese made vehicle?
But there is a bright side to imported Chinese products...
As you're praying to "Roarke" the porcelain god, you are also selling Buick's ("bbbbuuuuiiick" :D ), China's favorite car.
See? Today you learned something. Aren't you the clever one.
P.S. Don't forget to flush and gargle.
Next victim....

That's probably what put the stains in there in the first place. :D

In that order??
Trust me, had I known that the product was from china before I purchased it, it would have stayed on the shelf. I did, however, bring it back an made the manager of the store put his nose in the jar and smell it. He promptly offered a refund. I took the refund but made it clear that it was my feeling that the store should no longer purchase products made in china. From now on I will be looking more closely at the labels and *WILL NOT* buy food from china.
As for tools, etc., we seem to have no choice but at least I don't have to eat tools and potentially regurgitate them.
One step at a time, but America really needs to kick china to the curb and let them stifle in their own feces. Remember this when watching the Olympics coming up.
CHINA SUCKS! MOST FAVORED BY GREEDY DICKTARD PINHEAD MONEY GRUBBING MY DADDY IS DA MAN POLITICIAN NATION.
America.....skip the snooze button....it's time to wake up and smell the mushrooms.

Mark, please don't hold back. Let it all go! I want to see how many Zedsters can clean the inside of their monitor screens! :D
Remember that China is hosting the Olympics. We could eat some of those
toadstools and compete in Olympic Break Belching and Projectile Hurling events.
Extra points for texture and artistic composition! Of course points would be deducted for cheating like using the Uvula for a "Speed Bag" before competing.
I guess this is what happens when I talk about the first thing to come up!
Especially when I am in the spirit---of Ipecac!!

Buying fresh fruits and vegetables in season from local sources is something the average American simply cannot accept anymore. We must be able to buy fruits and vegetables at any and all times of the year. There are few exceptions to this - rhubarb comes to mind. So since we absolutely must have this, we have to accept that this food will come from far far away where who knows how it were harvested and handled and stored and packaged and shipped and uncrated etc etc. And some of those places happen to be within the US!
I have been to China, and enjoyed the local cuisine. One of my favorite dishes is a mushroom dish, where they combine a wide variety of different mushrooms in a sweet/sour sauce. I personally can't stand mushrooms from a can, they taste like rubber.
So what am I saying? There is a price to pay for having all this stuff shipped from all over the world to our doorstep. Sometimes it's a larder that is the envy of the world. And sometimes praying to the porcelin is necessary. Hey, and that will help build your immune system for the next time HI HI.

What is the United States Food and Drug authority doing when it allows food manufactured in China to be sold in the USA. Don't they check these things, and if they don't, its about time somebody woke them up. ! Before you buy anything, from anywhere, check the label and see where it was produced, and if its China, leave it on the shelf. There is no need for for mass produced food to be imported into the US unless its something special such as Scotch or Irish whisky, Guiness, Cadbury's etc, in other words international branded goods which are manufactured in the most hygienic food plants.

I was in the U.S. Navy and I've got OJT on how to really get stink'n sloshed. I've prayed to both "RRRRROOOARK" and "RRRRRRRRALPH" a few times in my day. I've also sold many BBBBBUICKKS. Whew, I'm glad those days are over.
BTW, Cal, your absence from this forum has been noticed. Glad to see you back posting here.

My elderly female neighbor, who claims to have worked for the CIA, explained to me why the products from China are like they are. She says by China selling us lead paint convered toys, dog and human food with various quesionable ingredients, and Heaven knows what else, they are actually trying to make us sick and week. Then it will be easier for them to invaide the United States.
When she first told me this theory I just laughed and shook my head but I sometimes wonder if she is on to something.

Read the label before you buy ANYTHING!
If you are not sure don't buy it.
Now take the can of mushrooms back to the store and get your money back. Yes you can take bad food back, but it should be near the day you purchased it.
I took a bad head of lettus (all brown inside) back to Cub Foods believe me they bent over backwards to make me happy. A guy came up and took the lettus looked at the number on the label. They pulled the whole bunch that had that number sequence.
The fact that they pulled the whole lot made me happy to know they care about thier customers.
