New release of MULTIPSK includes JT65
Patrick F6CTE has released a new version (4.8) of the data modes software MULTIPSK that incorporates coding/decoding of JT65.
Patrick writes:
Hello to all Ham and SWL,
The new releases of MULTIPSK (4.8) and Clock (1.8) is on my Web site ( http://f6cte.free.fr).
The main mirror site is Earl's, N8KBR:
http://www.eqth.info/multipsk/index.html (click on "United States Download Site").
Another mirror site is Terry's: http://www.hamshack.co.uk/
Multispk associated to Clock are freeware programs but with functions submitted to a licence (by user key).
The main modifications of CLOCK 1.8 are the following:
1) Time extraction from a RFC868 Internet time server (accuracy: +/- 1 second). In this case, the licence is not required for the PC synchronization.
2) It is given the possibility to translate, either from English or French, the labels, hints, error or information messages of this soft in any language. The 1.7.7 version of Clock has been translated to Spanish by Joachin (EA4ZB), from French. The translation file is on my Web site http://f6cte.free.fr
The main modifications of MULTIPSK 4.8 are the following:
1) Coding/Decoding of JT65 This mode is used for QRP transmissions either in HF, VHF or UHF. The JT65A sub-mode is used in HF. JT65 is also used for EME QSO (" Earth - Moon - Earth"), in VHF (or UHF).
Additional functions are supplied so as to give possibility for blind or partially sighted Hams or SWL to use JT65 (pronunciation either in English or in French).
Frequencies for JT65A: 1805, 3576, 7076 (USA), 10147, 14076, 18102, 18106, 21076, 24910 KHz
2) It is given the possibility to translate, either from English or French, the labels, hints, error or information messages of this soft in any language. The 4.7 version of Multipsk has been partially translated to Spanish by Joachin (EA4ZB), from French. The translation file is on my Web site
( http://f6cte.free.fr).
3) Improvement of the Acars VHF mode decoding and new functions.
4) Possibility to display APRS (Packet/Pax/ Pax2/ARQ FAE), SYNOP/SHIP and ACARS positions on GoogleEarth map (if present on the PC).
5) Improvements of the HF Fax mode.
For information, for all the Multipsk exotic modes (PSKFEC31, PSK10, PSKAM, PSK63F, PSK220F (+DIGISSTV), CCW-FSK, MFSK8, THROBX, DominoF, DominoEX, PAX, CHIP, Voice, Packet 110 bauds...), I propose the QRP frequency: 14075 Khz USB (AF around 1000 Hz), at 17h00 UTC.
