View Full Version : Hillary and her Bosnia trip stories
I thought it was cute last night on the national news.
They showed her at 3 different rallies giving three different versions of the trip and how she braved the "action".
The truth was, according to the news people and the video that were there at the time was she never had to run or had any problems on that landing she was discussing. She is just trying show her "experience" and make herself interesting I will assume.
She says she just forgot how it went. Kinda like Bill and Monica I guess.
Face it, do we really trust any politician 100%.
I also see now that someone posted some video in this forum about it too.

She says she just forgot how it went.
She uses the term "misspoke." A rose by any other name is still a rose. And a blatant lie by any other name is still a blatant lie.
The Queen of "Da Nile" wouldn't know the truth if it bit her squarely and smartly on her posterior.
The word lie or lying is quickly being replaced by:
Misspeak
Misspoke
Mistruth
Misquote
Misremember
I have heard or seen all these words in print or on the TV.

There are those on this site who refer to Bush as a liar on certain issues. But in every case the accusation is that he has lied about some things since being elected President. Hillary is an notorious liar NOW. Logically those who oppose Bush becuase of his purported lies cannot possibly support Clinton. Leopards don't change spots. She is a huge liar now so what would she be if, God forbid, the voters of this nation elect her President?

Another politician, thats what she will be.
I'm sure if we dig back into the campaign ran by Mr. Bush we can find the same kind of stuff.
Thats why none of them, NONE should be trusted.
Shes just following in the footsteps of every other politician. Promise the moon and the stars to get elected, deny they exist once they are in office.
We all know very well to be a successful politican you have to have a BS in BS. Sometimes they get caught :)
N5NPO and I went around and around on the issue and definition of the term "lie" some time back.
It seemed the neokons believe that there is no lie involved as long as the person telling the lie does not believe it to be a lie at the time they discuss such lie.
AS IN WMD in Iraq and Giant Mushroom Clouds and "I haven't been illegally wiretapping US citizens."
So are these lies, or are they not?

She is only a candidate at this time. And yes, I agree that it is a shame that we didn't get a clue from dingle berry dubya as to what a compulsive liar he is before he was elected.
A lying, cowardly, conniving president is a far more serious matter than a candidate. Well, to normal people, that is ...

Hillary mispoke, but her mispeaking was much more dishonest than John McCain's which was either ignorance or lunacy, one of the two.
I don't know, maybe somebody even less informed than her told her there were snipers in the area, but it sure seems unlikely.

lie1 /laɪ/ Pronunciation Key - Show Spelled Pronunciation[lahy] Pronunciation Key - Show IPA Pronunciation noun, verb, lied, ly·ing.
–noun
1. a false statement made with deliberate intent to deceive; an intentional untruth; a falsehood.
2. something intended or serving to convey a false impression; imposture: His flashy car was a lie that deceived no one.
Thus, for you Lib'rul lunes festering with BDS, to "LIE" requires intent. Hell, I'll even give Hitlery a pass as she had previously written in some book the truth, then she "misspoke" about it recently, though I reserve judgment on her reason for doing so, which seems to have been an attempt to boost her credibility.
Regarding Bush, those lunes who think he "lied" must show he intentionally deceived us, knowing full well that Saddam did not have WMD, in spite of Saddam's actions, and current knowledge that Saddam was purposefully deceiving us in order to maintain the illusion he had massive WMD so Iran wouldn't invade him again.

I think we can agree that you don't like Bush. That's fine. I have no problem with that. I won't spend any time trying to change your mind, anymore than you can change mine regarding liberal policies that I find revolting.
However, that we have opinions regarding politics doesn't allow us to change the definition of words to suit our needs. To do so will yield useless social disorder devoid of reason.
The left allowed the Iraq "problem" to become their mantra for change. No problem with that. We can disagree on whether it was prudent to take out Saddam.
But, you *cannot* change the definition of words in order to push your agenda.
If you believe that Bush lied about WMDs in Iraq, than to remain intellectually honest, you must believe that Bush had incontrovertible evidence that Saddam had no WMD. Going back a few years when we didn't know this, you would also have to show that all the other major intelligence agencies ALSO knew Saddam had no WMD, but chose to publically testify otherwise.
We can agree to disagree about policy. But when Lib'rul Lunes choose to change well-accepted definitions of words in order to push their agenda, well, you got a serious problem.
Please tell me what part of the definition of the word "lie" that I posted you feel is in error, and I will notify Webster that they are wrong.
You'll understand if I don't wait up too late for you to show I'm wrong, won't you?

How LIB'RUL!!
The vast majority of folks who speak English recognize that the word "lie" requires INTENT on the part of the person whom you claim "lied."
Compare the definition of "lie" to "misspoke," for instance. You *can* read a dictionary, can't you?
"Misspoke" doesn't contain the operative word "intent." Hence, it's a different ball of wax.
Do lib'ruls generally have this trouble with the English Language on a daily basis, or just when tried and true definitions of words don't support their lunacy??
Ok. How about this definition:
"to speak falsely or utter untruth knowingly, as with intent to deceive."

The dear boy touts his upcoming Euro citizenship as badge of honor. Unfortunately, like most Europeans he has turned a blind eye to their own problems at home. The lack of Muslim assimilation, a dying non-Muslim European population whose birth rate is being outpaced by Muslims three-to-one, and the sense that European culture is being usurped have all been neatly swept under the rug. They dine in their cafés and drink in their pubs while the light of personal expression slowly dies out as the Muslims take over. Good night dear boy and enjoy yourself while you can.

Luke, let me address this attempt to spin attention away from this poor souls own problems.
Muslim assimilate here far better than they do in most of the US, they just happen to actually have reporters here that report the problems instead of pretending there is no problem.
As for birth rates, why so xenophobic? You sound like a racist.
Who cares if the general populations skin darkens over time (well, you do but who cares about that?).
Personal expression burns brighter here than I have ever experienced in the US. Even the free thinking artist communities in New York, San Francisco, Boston, Austin and Chicago seem to pale in comparison to any neighbourhood around me here.
They drink their beer and single malts (coffee is a meal thing you ignorant man) and discuss the world with an informed knowledge that Americans no longer possess. They talk of art, politics and culture as a matter of course. And at a far more advanced level than I experienced in most of America.
But you are typical of the ugly American that pretends authority on something he has never seen, experienced or even really researched.
So how would you even know this?
I can tell this because what you write is straight from the US's right wing noise machine and was told to you in order to make you feel both superior and frightened in regards to Europeans. But both of those emotions are unwarranted, you are in no way superior to Europeans culturally or intellectually. And I think the Europeans have more to fear from your blind ignorance and brutish foreign policy than you do from their educated reasoning and savvy diplomacy.
So hide under your bed if you must, I for one am experiencing the world as it really is not as Sean Hannity tells me it is.

The 2005 civil unrest in France of October and November was a series of riots and violent clashes, involving mainly the burning of cars and public buildings at night starting on October 27, 2005 in Clichy-sous-Bois. Events spread to poor housing projects in various parts of France. This event ignited pre-existing tensions. Protesters told The Associated Press the unrest was an expression of frustration with high unemployment and police harassment and brutality. "People are joining together to say we've had enough," said one protester. "We live in ghettos. Everyone lives in fear."

No true Muslim can be assimilated into any society except a Muslim society. There is no way to assimilate a Muslim into a secular government, the true Muslim will never accept a secular government. That's the basic misunderstanding that most have concerning immigrant Muslims, they don't come to be blended into your society, they come to change your society. Only those of us who have read the Quran understand Islam. Thomas Jefferson read the Quran and stopped trying to negotiate with the Barbary Coast pirates and instead sent the U.S. Navy & Marines to scourge them.
The Quran teaches that Muslims can indeed mix with non-believers in Islam and associate with them but ONLY until they become numerous enough and powerful enough to force conversion to Islam on the non-believers they live amongst. This is the plan that is openly and often spoken of by many radical Muslim clerics every day, the rest of the Muslim clerics believe in the same plan and support it but don't think it's very smart to say it openly. Even a so-called moderate Muslim would fully support the wholesale slaughter of every Christian and Jew on the face of the earth, given the chance. And aren't the political & social liberals of the world just so anxious to give them that very opportunity.
Just so you don't think this is a religious post, atheists, agnostics, hookers, strippers, consumers of alcohol, consumers of illegal drugs, people who believe sex between consenting adults is OK, homosexuals and most of the mentally ill, all fall into the class of people that Islam says must be executed also.
So you see folks, the big problem isn't Christians, Jews and Muslims hating each other, it's Islam hating everyone that will not convert to Islam. You've never heard a single Jew threaten death because you don't frequent the Synagogue and you've never heard a single Christian threathen death because you don't frequent a Church, only Islam makes that promise to you.

The Birmingham riots of 2005 occurred on two consecutive nights on Saturday October 22 and Sunday October 23, 2005 in the Lozells area of Birmingham, England. The riots were derived from racial tensions between the Black British and British Asian communities, with the spark for the riot being an alleged gang rape of a teenage black girl by a group of Asian men. Writer and broadcaster Darcus Howe picked up and commented upon a backdrop of mutual ethnic minority racism both in the West Midlands and the rest of Britain. The problems specific to the Lozells area appear to be centered on the prevalence of Asian-owned businesses, the 'unfair treatment' and 'derogatory attitudes' of each community to the other. On November 5, 2005 graves in the Muslim part of a local cemetery were desecrated. Vandals who pushed over and destroyed several grave stones left behind leaflets insulting Muslims.

I don't know how every Muslim in the world thinks but I do know and understand what the Quran teaches they should think and do. I don't know what every Jew in the world thinks either but I'm comfortable with the Jew since I have a copy of his Torah in my Bible also. I even don't know what every Christian in the world thinks and those are my people. Some Christians handle snakes but not I, some flop on the floor and babble during service calling it being possessed of the spirit and speaking in Angelic language but not I, some Christians even remove their foot coverings and wash their feet before entering Church but not I and not a single one of those Christian practices are taught to be the only true religion and that they should kill all who do not follow their chosen path. Only Islam does that.
So if that makes me a member of the "uber right wing" than so be it because it appears that only the "uber right wing" has the sense GOD gave a goose.
I also killed my neighbor's dog that he purposely trained to be mean as the devil and then repeatedly purposely turned loose in our neighborhood. It was collected by animal control once but he went to court and paid the fines and promised to keep it secured in his fenced back yard. He didn't and it came after my next door neighbor's 5 year old daughter in their front yard and I drew and fired repeatedly. He called the local law enforcement and was surprised to be cuffed and arrested himself. He paid his fines again and was put on probation for his actions, put his house up for sale and left our neighborhood. Now call me an animal hater but my 2 Labradors were in their kennel at the time and our ####zu was in our house also.
Hillary explained her slip of the tongue on Bosnia in probably one of the only true statements that I've ever heard her make, she just says so much it's hard for her to keep track of what she says. Watch the movie Primary Colors and you'll understand why she & Bill both have this truth problem. A movie that was screened by the Clintons before it's public release and both claimed was very accurate, Bill even raved about the portrayal of himself by John Travolta. It's all about the Clintons to the Clintons, they have no political or social agenda to complete, it's all a big profitable game to them.

The deaths of innocent civilians are the result of a fighting style that is familiar to all who have served in any campaign involving Islamic fighters. They fight from civilian domain and then blame the other side for the civilian casualities and it works so well on the liberal minded. In southern Lebanon Hezbollah hid their rocket launchers under apartment buildings and would roll them out to fire and then back under the building to reload, then when the Israelis blew up the whole building they blamed Israel for the civilian casualities. In Somalia the father would gather his wives and many children together on the street and hide under the Burqa of a wife and snipe U.S. Marines from there. In Gaza the civilian casualities are from very accurate strikes that always are admitted by Hamas to have also killed fighters and leaders of that radical group but the liberal mind only sees the civilian death. In Iraq far more Iraqis have been killed by their own radical factions than any U.S. military action but every civilian death is blamed on the U.S. military and Bush, what the devil does either have to do with civilians killing other civilians. I dont see any way to blame the U.S. or Bush for an Iraqi woman going into a market place with a bomb under her Burqa and detonating that bomb to kill other civilians! In Afghanistan the fighters there operate from civilian dwellings also.
So tell us all exactly how you fight an enemy that purposely embeds itself in civilian areas without having any civilian casualities? Of course we "uber right wing" folks are pretty stupid and still consider those civilians that house, feed and support the radical Islamic fighters to not be civilians at all but just as much the enemy.

Thomas Jefferson read the Quran and stopped trying to negotiate with the Barbary Coast pirates and instead sent the U.S. Navy & Marines to scourge them.
Thomas Jefferson stopped trying to negotiate with Barbary Coast governments when Tripoli's envoy to London, Ambassador Sidi Haji Abdrahaman said
It was written in their Koran, that all nations which had not acknowledged the Prophet were sinners, whom it was the right and duty of the faithful to plunder and enslave; and that every mussulman who was slain in this warfare was sure to go to paradise. He said, also, that the man who was the first to board a vessel had one slave over and above his share, and that when they sprang to the deck of an enemy's ship, every sailor held a dagger in each hand and a third in his mouth; which usually struck such terror into the foe that they cried out for quarter at once.
that was in 1786, when he was still US ambassador. He didn't get around to sending the navy and marines until 1801, when, upon his inauguration, the Pasha of Tripoli, Yussif Karamanli, demanded tribute.
The Barbary coast pirates were brigands pretending to a religious justification for their criminal behavior.

I think it is pompous of you to be convinced that every follower of Islam has an identical interpretation of the religion's ideals. Your vast conspiracy theory that they lie in wait until their numbers are great enough to take over sounds like duh decider guy's "monsters under every bed" scare tactics.
And, finally, you exhibit no trait in your posts that leads me to believe that you are anything but another in a long line of right wing zealots. I am receptive to being proven wrong on that, as anyone can be misjudged. Obviously you know something about several different religions. Can you tell me that literal interpretation of the Bible isn't distorted by Christian zealots who exploit the religion in much the same way that radical Islamists do with the Quran?
It's obvious that you believe that you can neatly categorize people based on their religious beliefs. In your world, Christian = Good, Muslim = Bad. These are the beliefs of a less than educated individual.
If you want to elaborate, I'll entertain a different explanation. This is the impression your posts leave, and they seem valid enough to me until illustrated differently.

The same way you solve any problem., By being honsest with yourself and with the people. By getting to the root causes of the problem. Stop making belive that terrorism grew out of a bunch of maniacs who one day woke up and decided to take over the world and instead realizing that terrorism is the result of failed diplomacy and corrupt power grabs and lots of other things that have festered over the years and created hostility. By coming to terms with the reality that there are valid arguments on both sides of the fence and that we cannot forever go on denying that reality. By taking responsibility rather than imagining false virtues and blaming everything on the other side.

France is home to 600,000 Jews, Europe's largest Jewish community, and in recent days many of them have been under assault. Synagogues have been set aflame in Strasbourg, Lyon and in Brussels, Belgium. One in Marseilles was burnt to the ground on Easter Sunday, and Molotov cocktails were tossed at another on Tuesday. A pavilion at a Jewish cemetery in Alsace was destroyed this week, while a flammable liquid was thrown at a synagogue in the same town. A fracas broke out at Orly airport in Paris Tuesday between pro- and anti-Israeli demonstrators.

As I read this thread, I ponder a serious thought. IF (and that's a total hypothetical) the Arab World ceased to exist, the Middle East Arabs were vaporized into thin air and the Muslims of the area sent packing . . .
WHAT would be the social affect on our planet?
Would social evolution cease? Would education become dormant? Would our Medical Institutions continue to fight disease?
In short, would we miss that part of the World?
I would argue, hardly.
WHERE are the great Muslim Educational Institutions? The great Muslim Medical Centers? Where in the Muslim World are *women* allowed the same life and experiences as men?
Much of the current tension between the Muslim World and the West is directly traceable to the failure of the Muslim world to modernize. Indeed, Al Qaeda wants us all to live under 7th Century Muslim law. Their hatred of the West is based on our modernity and the threat that poses to them.
A few hundred years ago the Muslim World was at the pinacle of civilization. No longer. The West as blown past them, partly because a society that essentially imprisons half of its citizens can't expect to compete in the modern world. You *need* your women contributing to your society!
Saudi Arabia is currently conducting a study to determine the affect on their society of allowing women to DRIVE! GADZOOKS!!
Now that I think of it, restricting women from driving might not be all bad!!

Nope.
lie1 /laɪ/ Pronunciation Key - Show Spelled Pronunciation[lahy] Pronunciation Key - Show IPA Pronunciation noun, verb, lied, ly·ing.
–noun
1. a false statement made with deliberate intent to deceive; an intentional untruth; a falsehood.
2. something intended or serving to convey a false impression; imposture: His flashy car was a lie that deceived no one.
Simple.

You don't really need to interpret the Quran, it's language is simple and direct in nature. I have some neighbors that claim to be Muslim but they're not really, they were just raised in a Muslim country and hold to some ways of the homeland. They dress like Americans and are bigger capitalists than I am! Their wives and daughters dress just like most American women and I've never seen any of them hit their knees at the appointed times daily. The local Mosque seems to be a place visited less & less by them as time passes.
I'm glad to see you express the attitude of all flaming liberals, "I'm probably better educated than you so what you say or think doesn't really matter", you must have studied under Ted Kennedy or Al Gore!
Get back to me on Islam after you've finished a year or two on study of the Quran. I'm just going to reflect on you the attitude shown towards me now, you're just not educated enough in the subject of Islam & the Quran for me to discuss it with you.
The biggest problem in Iraq is that it was never a real nation. It was ruled by an iron fisted tyrant by fear alone. Same situation as in Yugoslavia with Tito. Take away the tyrant and the tribal, clanish and Muslim nature of the people tear the country apart.
And the bottom line fact is that in five years in Iraq the total U.S. casualities are only slightly higher than the death toll of 9/11 alone in the U.S. and there hasn't been a single successful attack in the U.S. in those 5 years. They're too busy in their own back yard to mount any operations here.
The middle east will probably go up in smoke soon with or without the U.S. being involved anyway. If the majority of Americans want a fast pullout from Iraq & Afghanistan and let the true slaughter begin, I won't complain because it wasn't my idea. Iran, Syria, Iraq, Lebanon, Israel, Afghanistan and all the countries of the Saudi Arabia peninsula go first and then it sweeps Africa faster than it is now. Gas should hit about $20 a gallon about that time. And I'll even be able to blame you and the Democrats for it! The shoe will be on the other foot!
You have noted that since the British left Basrah things have pretty much gone to Hell there? Yeah the first thing they did after they attacked the police station and got them confined was blow one of the oil pipelines. That will probably only cost you $1-$2 more dollars at the pump soon.

Which has nothing to do with Islam and everything to do with British colonialism.

There were no attacks in the five years before 9/11, either, and no US dead in Iraq. I'll take 'no dead and no attacks, kthx'.
They're too busy in their own back yard to mount any operations here.
Which was entirely accomplished by the policing effort and has nothing to do with the US invasion of a country that wasn't involved in the attacks.

Just as with lots of old folks who grow to look remarkably alike, as also with old women and their dogs (which also look remarkably alike), I believe that Bill and Hill have grown so closely together psychologically (don't even go to the other thought...) that they have come to adopt the attitude that "the family that stays together, lies together" as a point of personal pride.
It is long past time for both of them to simply go away.

No dear boy, lets not get off topic. Europe has a fear/hate relationship with Semitic peoples. THE FEAR - Europe has been so threatened by its Muslim population it has taken to banning any serious criticisms of the Muslim religion while instituting anti-Semitic policies. From movies, to newspapers and the internet, Europe is attempting to control any criticisms of the Muslim religion. There is no free and open debate because of the complacency and self-censorship of Europe’s political and intellectual elites, the self-pity of the Muslims, and the threat of violence by the jihadists. THE HATE - Reported by the BBC. Anti Semitism is on the rise in Europe. In a new study released, it singles out Belgium, France, Germany, the Netherlands and Britain, where it says the rise in anti-Semitism has been of particular concern. I guess if your well educated and non Semitic you can sit in pubs and cafes and enjoy interesting and mine expanding conservations that you can‘t get here in the states. Turkey anyone?

The dream or hope of a common Turkish future with Europe is growing more distant each day, due to Europeans’ policy of exclusion. What’s more, these policies target not only Turks living in Turkey, but also Turks living abroad. The treatment that Europeans consider us worthy of is known. For example, citizens of all European Union candidate countries are given the right of free movement, but Turks are excluded from this. For example, while the existing Customs Union is based on the free movement of goods, services and labor, the free movement of labor or people is rejected for Turkey. What’s more, people predict that even if Turkey joins the European Union one day, this free movement of people will never happen.

That's what we call genocidal justification. Some pompous self righteous imbecile decides he has some divine right to decide who or what group of people are useful and worthy of living and what group are useless and might as well be exterminated.
A course in ethics might be valuable.
GADZOOKS!!
Now that I think of it, restricting women from driving might not be all bad!!
..............Bob <---------removing tongue from cheek
So it's okay for our way of life to impose on them and not okay for their way of life to impose upon us. Our way is valuable their way is trash ?
A better idea. How about neither imposes on each other. Perhaps years upon years of western colonization and meddling in middle eastern affairs might be playing a key role in what is happening today.

Which brings us to the ultimate cure for western colonization of the continent of North America, the U.S., Canada and Mexico! All blacks must go back to Africa, all Asians go back to their lands, all Spanish go back to Spain and all Euros go back to Europe. North American once again belongs to it's indigenous peoples.
Now I have about 1/3 American Indian blood flowing in my veins, so I get to stay. Line up you self righteous left wing liberal pukes, you owe me everything you have, you stole everything you have from my forefathers, so get the !@#$ out of my homeland. Put up or shut up!
I'm waiting for all your property deeds, car & boat titles and all other assests.:D

And when the native Americans did become angry and tried to fight against the injustices that were perpetrated against them the prevalent attitude was that they are 100% wrong and the white man is 100% right. Much the same attitude that we throw at the middle east nowadays when we proclaim our self righteousness.

Really? Care to provide some proof for once, or are you just going to keep blowing hot wind out the backside?

You're almost there, Todd. The truth is out there ...
I have experienced a eureka moment of sorts. My observation is that discussing any subject with you is similar to what one would expect to experience in a hypothetical "one on one" with Rush Limbaugh. You present an endless stream of repetitive sound bytes, all slanted to the extreme right, very few with any basis in fact, and most highly distorted.
It kinda leaves me feeling as if I need to bathe.
:D

Oh! I get it! He's just an entertainer like Rush!
Now it all makes sense! The grandiose claims, the feigned knowledge, yet underneath it all a lack of understanding of what exactly is being said.
All the while endless streams of party approved noise!
He got me he did! I was entertained for a while shooting down his BS, but as with Rush I've become bored of his antics. They just aren't that entertaining and are a bit too repetitive in their simplistic themes.
Thanks Luke, I was beginning to take this entertainer too seriously I see! :D
Keep it up Hill....

Todd, the only thing that I have is an ancient family Bible from way back. Now that may not seem like much proof to you but it was to the U.S. Government. When my old company was desperately seeking any current employees that qualified as being "minorities", I mentioned my heavily Native American heritage and made a trip home from the office to get the old Bible. We scanned the pertinent pages and notes, filed the forms and the U.S. Government has certified me as a Native American. It seems to have been quite common in 'days of old' for white American males to purchase young women from Native American tribes and wed those young ladies.
The down side to this was the constant flow, for many years now, of paperwork from the U.S. Government and the Cherokee Nation. But it is assuredly a very good 'ace in the hole' to play, if the need should ever arise.

Then you'll be registered in the database.
Easily verifiable.

Both of my great grandparents on my mother's mother's side were "half breeds". However, getting the proof is not always possible. When my great grandparents were born (mid 1870s) it definitely was not "cool" to be a "half breed" and often those records do not exist.
One of the things that caused problems between the Indians (or if you want to be politically correct the "native Americans") and those who came after them was the concept of the ownership of land. To most Indian tribes the land belonged to no one and everyone at the same time but to the "white" settlers individual parcels of land were owned by certain people.
Now, for those who insist on using the term "native Americans" I refer you to this website:

No, that's not at all what I said, o great spin meister.
You stated that you were going to verify me as Native American on some registry that was easily accessible, I stated that I had no idea if I was on any registry or not, never bothered to look for any such registry.
How did that easily verifiable registry work for you? Wipe that egg off the face old boy.

No egg on my face OM. If you had filled out the paperwork and been certified then you are also registered as such. That's what the paperworks about.
You would also know that as well had it been done. There are many benefits to being a native that would have been explained to you in the response from the BIA, and most likely you would have been contacted by your tribe by now.
Haven't looked yet, but rest assured I will now that you've spun yourself into a corner.

So, if you don't like her or Obama then don;t vote for them. Go vote for McCain or whatever Bush clone is running. Be sure to send them some additional money in addition to your taxes. Maybe he'll start a few more wars. That should make you happy.

A fourth candidate may be on the horizon via the DNC and the Democratic Senior Super Delegates. Dean has already issued a statement strongly urging Hillary Clinton to step aside. If the two current Democrats go to Convention still bashing each other, there's a strong possibility that the Party will have the Super Delegates withhold their votes from either and draft Al Gore. If that happens we can all kiss our butts bye-bye.
Let me review my TN neighbor. First he's a staunch conservative TN Senator, according to himself, but votes almost identically to Ted Kennedy on every bill, while the little lady Tipper is busily heading up morality campaigns in TN and attempting to get certain books banned from public libraries and certain music banned from TN radio stations, all to make Al appear to be a conservative to the folks at home. A shot at VP comes his way and he's not conservative at all suddenly, like he ever actually was, and he's a Vietnam War hero but was seldom allowed to leave the office of Stars & Stripes where he typed tirelessly to win the war. Then suddenly he claims to be the inventor of the internet, yeah right. And then just as suddenly he's the ultimate scholar in any field he choses to lay claim to but only if you ignore National Academy of Science scholars whose numbers involving the climate totally counter the claims of AL and most of the world does just that.
A Slick Willy clone must be looking good to the DNC about this time!

It's not like I recall every detail of something that happened in the '80s old boy. The only time I've ever been to the reservation was to gamble at the casino. Nice place to visit but I really wouldn't want to live there and you can't even get a drink there.
