Mirrored after the gun control laws, successfully put in place in the area surounding Chicago, new proposals are now being submitted to help prevent folks from shooting off their mouth.
Proposal is to provide folks that wish to post on the internet or talk using any media where two or more folks can hear them to register their mouth. Recognizing that folks "shooting off their mouth", talking about politics or putting down elected officials proposed plans, taxes and restrictions can be subversive, this new registration is designed to control and limit speech that could be consider subversive. (Subversive in this case = anything said the elected officials do not agree with)
Amateur Radio operators are up in arms because a few of us understand radio is not like a cell phone -- anyone can hear the coversation, thus subject to the new laws.
The key quetion that remains is how to regulate how folks talking out of state via the airwaves can be regulated.
When questioned, Obama had no position. Hilliary, said "that is not a bad idea, why didn't I think of it." And McCain said, "what's a radio"
