I was surprised to see no threads about this latest gaff from the Obama camp. I guess in Poli-Sci 101 they forgot to tell Obama that you NEVER use the word "typical" in any political context.
Up until this comment I hadn't really considered Obama had any underlying stereotypical racial opinions. He's certainly welcomed to his own opinions, just as I am certainly welcomed to now dismiss his campaign.
How long before the Clintons start parading Abongo Obama stories? Abongo "Roy" Obama is the brother of the presidential hopeful. He makes Billy Carter look like a genius.
I guess I will be voting for McCain at this point. I guess I am now a McCain Democrat.

Dubya's brother, Neil never caused Dubya any problems even though he was a close friend of the family of John W. Hinckley Jr.
When trying to put down Obama, people can only grasp at straws. "Oh look! Someone Obama knows or is related to did something stupid!!! I won't vote for him!!!"

The reason you don't see a thread about it is because, simply put....
Whites know better than that.
Its better to keep your mouth shut. If you crow about anything like that, then they twist it around on you and make YOU the bad guy.
I learned a long time ago if someone says something racially charged towards me the best thing to do is keep my mouth shut and walk away. If you say anything back, you'll be blamed as the aggressor and you become the racist.
You can't win, so its just better to keep your mouth shut. If he continues this direction he is going in, sooner or later most people will (silently) know what hes really about and will hopefully vote accordingly.
I'm not going to say anything though, nor will a lot of other people. We're tired of getting it tossed back in our laps. Its better at this point to say nothing at all-if we get all up in arms about it, then it will be twisted and used by him to gain support.
If he keeps it up, he'll implode on his own.

No need to grasp at straws. Obama seems to be doing quite a good job without any help at killing his own campaign.
