View Full Version : The Glow Is Gone
Sorry Barry, yes you can deliver a great speech, but it takes more than words to get elected to the highest office in the land.

What a strange campaign. Hillary remembering events that didn't happen, and Obama forgetting sermons he wish he hadn't heard.
I've noticed during this campaign, the word "LIE" has been displaced by "Misspeak" or Misspoke". Lying no longer happens- lies are now actually mistruths. Both Obama and Hillary's camp have used the word. Not sure if McCain's camp has used the word yet.

I read this in today's "Voice of the People" column in the New York Daily News:
"Show me your friends, and I will tell you who you are"!
I think that is very profound and defines Obama fairly accurately.

What is next on the politically correct front?
Changing "Man of Color" to "Caucasian with a permanent tan?"

Support for Obama is still very strong. The reason being that Obama's campaign is far more than just "empty words". There is nothing empty about the idea of new hopes, new dreams, new visions. And Obama has a plan for everything he has proposed. Just visit his website.
Anyone can have a plan -- which, by the way, is a good thing.
The question is, can the plan be executed.............................
BTW, (I have no friends)
That is not necessarily a good thing.

I'm not his friend but I might vote for him. Depends on how much he pays me...

McCain is defined by his friends - G.W. Bush and Phil Gramm... that definition is unprintable in front of company...

A new one heard this morning on the news: Besides Misspeak and Misspoke.
The new word: Mis-Remember when referring to Hillary's Bosnia trip.
