I have just posted this in the Clinton Campaign's web mail form:
Now that Senator Clinton has resorted to fabricating memories of sniper fire, it is clear that even she has become aware that she cannot become the next president of the United States, nor even the Democratic Party's nominee without such ethical lapses as to justify not voting for her.
The Clinton campaign, by not conceding, is merely aiding the Republican Party. It is time. For the sake of the party; no, for the sake of the country; I call on Senator Clinton to concede and to bring her effort to bear on the goal of defeating John McCain in November.
I cannot vote for McCain. I will not vote for Clinton. Please do not destroy the party's only hope of retrieving the presidency. Concede now.
Thank you,
Martin Fouts

...and with Obama getting the Democratic nomination, the Republican Party has only to say two words: Thank You.
We might as well get used to saying "President McCain."
P.S. I not crazy about McCain either.
Amazing how long it has taken the LIBS to figure out what conservatives have know, for years, about the Clintons.

So she exaggerated how close the sniper fire was on trip to a combat area in Bosnia 12 years ago! OMG!
This is a non story. I think lifting someone else’s speech like Obama did is a little more serious than this. Bottom line she was there, and has been one of the 50 most influential people in the world for 30 years while Obama was not even a standout in the Illinois senate! He couldn’t even get re-elected and lost.
Obama has nothing to even exaggerate since he has done literally nothing but TALK.

Still an improvement over what we have now.
George. You are forgetting the double standards of Republicans to Democrats. Republicans require no scrutiny upon their record. Anything they do or say is expected to be substandard so that they can hope to play on an even playing field with the Democrats. Yeah, we know that the Bushies are close family friends of assassins like the Hinkleys, but we expect that relationship of the conservatives. We don't scrutinize those relationships.
But any blemish on the liberal side is scrutinized heavily by the liberal media, because liberals demand perfection.
If you don't demand perfection, conservatives running the country into the ground is fine and dandy.
Great post. Now what in the heck does this have to do with Hilliary or Obama.
Last time I looked, neither one were Republicans.
Are you suggesting Hilliary switch parties?

You're doing as if they care...
Reading many of the replies here by democratic supporters who have over the years excoriated, bashed and slandered Bush for (as Kennedy put it) - Lie after lie after lie after lie about the Iraq war and other initiatives.
Yet, these same people are finding all kinds of excuses for the outright (and 100% provable) lying Hillary is doing which she will most certainly continue to do if nominated and if eventually elected to be President. She had to know her story was videotaped and could easily be disproved which I think shows a definite lack of judgement on her part and a complete failure to realize the damage her words could bring.

While I am no fan of Hillary I don't see how this is nearly as important of a lie or exaggeration as President Bush saying "mission accomplished", or Vice President Cheney saying that there was a direct connection between Iraq and 9-11. Alas, no. The bottom line is she's claimed these things, but on inspection, they've turned out not to be true. This isn't the first story she's told to backup her supposed expertize that the facts haven't been close to. She's made any number of claims about having been influential in ways in the Clinton administration that her recently released schedule shows she wasn't even involved in.
Pretty much all of Mrs Clinton's "expertise" is "exaggeration."
No WMD, no al Qaida links, no 9/11 links, no mission accomplished (lied about the banner too), no Osama, out a CIA agent and lie about it, pardon the bag man who did it, lie about White House damage in the first 10 hours of taking office, no help for NO, no show for duty, no show for class, no successful businesses, lie about illegal wire taps, hell even a failed drunk and druggie! BTW, I just picke a beautiful 11-month old lercher/sled-dog mix from the pound the other day. He's ALL white with a great disposition, house-broke -- well cared for by his previous owners. Moreover, he plays well with our 10-year old border collie/sled dog mix. Sometimes old and new do get along...
Right now, he's spending half his day outside in our fenced in half-acre backyard, the rest inside with the family. He's a great addition, and is keeping us on-our-toes.

Excellent! That's a nice sized "pen" ... I did the same here, fenced in 1/2 acre for my friends to romp in. Especially good for large breeds.
The 10 year old may just surprise you and hang out for 4-5 more years, especially with the newbie for him (her?) to slap around!
I hope the new fellow doesn't hop the fence. Both my dogs are more than capable, but for some reason, they don't, even when we have deer grazing along the edge of the woods. The deer have figured out that they are safe, but seem annoyed at the barking!
BTW - was that "Sometimes old and new do get along..." thing a subtle hint? I still have a few good years left ...
Give the dogs a pat on the head for me. And a treat (mine prefer "Snawsomes" and "Milk Bones", the big ones!

"is she supposed to know every detail about everything?" You bet, if she was supposedly involved personally she should remember the details. With her it's not a matter of remembering details, it is a matter of altering details to serve her selfish purposes. She has been called, by some who know her well and have worked with her, a pathalogical liar. Her comments over the years that even the drive by media are now exposing certainly prove that. She is one evil, wicked, individual and it is beyond scary to think of her as President.

No wonder you libs are so screwed up, you all seem to have allowed Limbaugh to capture and fixate your minds, like moths to a flame. Now here I am a confirmed neocon by your definition and I've probably heard some parts of Limbaugh's show 4-5 times in the last 4-5 years and only when tuning around the old radio dial while in an automobile, oh there's Limbaugh, let's see what he's saying to yank lib chains. I usually can't listen very long because of excessive laughter, the vision of libs somesaulting over every slice of his baloney is overwhelming.
You must be the exception then. Most of the cons I know listen to limbaugh like they are hearing the voice of God.

Is that any worse than a lib who quivers at every word from Al, Bill, Ted, etc.?

Hello, loser boy.
We know you listen to talk radio, specifically Limbaugh. That's how we know you're stupid, because you parrot the same crap spewed on the AM bands.
Like most so called "conservatives", you can't think for yourself.

I doubt that Dave. Just as you are, people like Limbaugh are very entertaing at times. I don not regularly listen to him.
Liberals are also a "group", who thinks for them? Ted, Al, Bill, Obama?

You'll be changing that avatar if she is elected. "We're going to take away from you for the common good" is her mantra.
