Okay, it's funny to me anyway.

Cops chase a woman out of a crime scene who was attempting to get her car. Then they take her into custody, and walk her through the same scene they kicked her out of! :D

It's funny too how she wanders in oblivious to the yellow tape she ducked under to get to her car. Maybe there's truth to the theory about cell phones cooking brain cells.

What did she do on her own ? Walk 2 or 3 feet into a crime scene but the dumb *** cop walks her through the entire scene potentially destroying evidence.

That's kind of what I was thinking. If it was really that major of a crime scene where they were worried about evidence being destroyed then why did they walk her right past where she already was, which was about five feet into the scene, and then take her even further in. Seems like a bit of an overreaction, even though she's an idiot for going under the tape without at least asking the officers that were there first. Oy.

No doubt. It just gets me how she was more focused on her phone conversation than she was on what was going on around her and didn't seem to feel the officer's direction to be of any importance. She obviously knew there was a crime as she had come from the hairdresser to see if her car had been shot.

I guess cell phones don't just make one stupid while driving, judging from this video for some it can be just as dangerous walking while talking, let's not even get into the whole chewing gum fiasco.

My comments were and are not to excuse the officer dragging her through the crime scene. My point was meant to be taken over and above what had already been said regarding the officer's actions.

Well duh....

The cops had the tape on backwards. The words were on the inside, and probably upside down. You had to be *in* the crime scene to read the tape.

Poor lady.....

I'm thinking reading while on her phone would be way beyond her ability. Of course with all the different things yellow tape like that is used for and having less than the entire PD parked inside the tape I can see how she could be confused.
