Short and simple,
Who are you voting for, and why?

I don't know.
I am torn between Obama and Hillary.
I like Obama's economic stimulus plan, as well as his renewable resource plan. But like Clinton's plan to troop withdrawal, as well as Universal Healthcare.
I think Obama is a good candidate for International relations, but Hillary DOES have more experience in the senate (by a few years I think).
I honestly don't know.
Then again, I'm not old enough to vote.

Vote McCain, the lesser of 3 evils.

I don't think that there really are any perfect candidates. (flaming starts now)
Obama may have good views, but he has no experience. He's never really done anything that tells me that he can run our country during these times for the next 4 years.
Hillary, we saw her run the country when Bill was president and I hope we never see it again. I have a roll of toilet paper with a picture of bill's face on it and under that it has the caption, "wipe out Clinton". Just like my avatar, with Bill Clinton on it.
McCain sounds O.K. The only thing he might do though is nuke Russia and then we'd pay for it in 20 years. The only thing the world has ever learned is "don't mess with Russia!"
I just gave my opinion on some of the most popular. There are others out there, form your own opinion on them.

BTW, You spelled Barack with an extra R.
I support Barack Obama, not Barrack Obama. :p;)

Whatever, Barack. Two R's are cooler :)

Only one person has voted for me? :(:D
Your at the Mendoza Line (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mendoza_Line), or as we call it in politics the Ron Paul Line.

I voted for you since you are probably not a crook and most politicians probably are. Of course I don't know them or you so I just felt like throwing my vote away! Hope you win.

Actually this pole only has 17 votes registered as of this writing. Had Ron Paul managed to draw 1 out of every 17 votes he would have done much better and would still be living on Fantasy Island believing he could be elected.

Just like my avatar...
You need to bring your old avatar back. I was working on squinting hard enough to try and tell if your bird was a Lutino or Cinnamon variation. It was very hard to tell for sure in the lower resolution image used for the avatar. Of course this all assumes that it was your bird and not just a picture you found on the net somewhere. :)

I'm less than convinced of that. He sounds like another New World Order Conservative war mongering lunatic to me sometimes.
Do we need another dick 'n boosh crime syndicate in power?

Pay attention investors. The hand wringing on limits to growth and the demand for government regulation of business suggests we are on the brink of reprising the '70s, with Obama ready to take on the role of Jimmy Carter --the naive but smiling charmer-in-chief. Recommendation, if Obama is elected, go short term on investments to deal with the sky high interest rates that are coming. In the area of mortgages, lock them in now, becuase rates will go to 12% or higher.
I'll vote for you for 2 reasons:
1. You're not an incumbent that I know of.
2. You asked.

Interesting that 2 candidates are listed for the Democrat side, but only one of the two still running under the Republican side is given as a choice in this poll.
Looks like the press indeed controls the minds of most people.
No,
I'm a republican, I don't want either Obama or Clinton to win. If Obama wins we're going to end up with endless mistakes being made for this country just because he has no experience. Sure he's a nice speaker, but where's the beef? I AM NOT RACIST!
Don't even get me started with Hillary. We saw her run the country when Bill was president and I hope it never happens again.
If you want another republican up there tell me which one. McCain is the top one and the elections are this November. Who is your choice?

No your not. You're to young. You have conservative views, but can't become a Republican till your 18. :D:p;)
Bush had "experience" and look where we are now. Maybe there is something else that dictates decisions other than experience...something Bush lacks...
Hillary never ran the country. I bet you don't even remember when HE ran the country Cal. You and I were both to young to remember the Clinton Administration. So how can you, or anyone around our age group hope it never happens again if we don't truly know what they did? The only indicator we have is partisan news sources, or our parents! Which are going to tell it how they saw it. Good or Bad.
I do agree with you, I don't think you could've added anyone else except Nader.

TV and the proccess of recording TV has been around a while. I've seen Bill's decisions and most of us can agree that HILLARY made some decisions.
As for Bush..... If we all hated him so much why did we elect him for a second term?
KU0DM
03-24-2008, 11:49 PM
Hate is not the question. The question is if experience relates to decision making capacity. It does up to a point, it has been proven an adult will typically make a more rational decision than a teenager, but both Bush and Obama, and everyone running are adults.
Bill doesn't record his decisions, he records his speeches. You agree with what he says in his speeches, but that's only 1 half of a whole for a decision.

Uh, perhaps because taken as a whole, this country sometimes has the IQ of a rock?

Have you forgotten how old you are?
You just said that you shouldn't be credited with a decision.

No I didn't
Rational (http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/rational)
I said, studies by psychologists and neurologists show that adults will typically have more judgment than teenagers, and I admit, that is probably true. Our (you and me) brains our still growing, no matter what we say, in truth our brains are still developing. That developmental process continues through the teenage years.
I never said teenagers shouldn't be credited with a decision, I said that an adult will typically make a more rational decision, sane decision, have better judgment, assuming they are not under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Can't dispute that... But also look who your party submitted as it's opposition.
As someone that was fully ready to vote democrat, I.. just couldn't.. I sat it out as I couldn't vote for Bush either.
Oh yeah, in this case, I voted for 'DXC.. at least he's honest..

According to the wisdom of Cliff Claven:
"If you were to go back in history and take every president, you'll find that the numerical value of each letter in their name was equally divisible into the year in which they were elected. By my calculations, our next president has to be named Yellnick McWawa."
