You gotta love those sign generators. We found one that was a dead ringer for the church my wife attends. We made one up claiming a friend of hers at church as being Satan and emailed it to him. He was half way to the church to corner the pastor when he called and she told him it was fake.

He is the type of guy that you go back and forth with one upping him and he one ups you, all in fun of course. He hasn't struck back since this one and this was three or four years ago now.

If that is what someone gets into ham radio for, they're a sorry excuse for a ham radio operator.

You ought to remind him. Either that, or he is still thinking. Probably be a doozie.:)

I guess I did. No apology offered, because I still believe what I stated. In this case, the 'joke' is still a cry for recognition.

Don't worry about him, I'll take care of it.

Whenever someone picks on me I'm told they're either jealous of my age or something else. K1CJS has been picking on me for the last month now.

He has even gone as far as to say that I'm not a good operator (and a poor excuse for a ham) he also said that I don't have a life and that I spend to much time on the computer.

I will be giving him a taste of his own medicine now, maybe when he gets his diaper changed he'll see the light of things.

Now you COULD stoop to his level and give him a taste of his own medicine or you could be the bigger man and just ignor him. I think there are enough people that can and will tell him where to get off if he doesn't stop his bullying you. It's your choice but this may prove to be one of those life lessons you keep hearing about!!

Yes,

I have really been pondering what to do. I won't cry to the mods, I'm no baby. I could ignore him. Now think, what if he did this to you? He called me a "sorry excuse for a ham operator" and a "lifeless loser" That is poor.

I'm not going to have a huge war with him, but I don't have his back on anything. I think it is very poor what he did, I'll let him take the shame when everyone reads these posts, and sees the ones he originally made.

I haven't worked either one of you on the air but based on the posts on here there is only one of you I would want to and it isn't him. You just keep on keepn on. We need more young folks like you.

He paints himself pretty well. It's actually kinda pathetic to see someone so full of spite and hatred. With social skills like that, it makes you wonder why he bothered with amateur radio.

Ignore him and let him flex his big, bad, internet muscles on others. He can't resist.

Cal,
Don't worry about K1CJS. Just completely ignore anything he says, no matter what it is. He just wants a reaction, and he seems to find it amusing to pick on a 13 year old.

Do you guys have any idea how quiet the bands are tonight? I mean, signals are loud.

I have not heard such clean signals in ages.

I just finished running a pileup on 30 meters. I was transmitting on 10.105, up 1. I think I worked about 50 guys, then I stopped. I would have used 10.103 (my normal frequency) but I had power line noise. :(
