Legendary hf amplifier guru, Bill Edwards, passed away in his doctors office today. His wife had passed just 2 weeks ago.
He will be sorely missed.

I was stunned to learn that Bill had passed away. I knew his wife had been sick but did not think Bill was in poor health. I'm sure the strain of caring for his wife was not easy.

I bought my first amplifier from Bill 15 years ago and had since purchased two more from him. Bill was always very upfront and honest in his dealings with his customers. He also had an immense knowledge that paid in spades for his customers when it came to repair services.

He was truly a nice guy and a real credit to ham radio. I for one will miss him dearly. Rest in peace, Bill, you deserve it.
